Nothing did. Marie's dungeon is the only good dungeon in the series before 5 came out so it's actually a huge plus.

Marie and the concert event, but otherwise it's an improvement over P4. I would also say it's the only one of the recent Persona games that feels complete, not to say it's the best, but FES and P5 both left me feeling like there was something missing, while P4G felt more like it was fully realized.

On this point alone you lose all credibility. Sure the dungeons in 4 drag on for a while, maybe an excess of 4-5 floors, but Tartarus drags on for an excess of about 200 floors.
