Just bought this game and so far still I didn't had the time to properly test it out, just got out of the intro zone, like 5 minutes gameplay.
It seems so simple but I like simplicity in these games, anyway... I'm at work right now, so asking you, any beginner tips that won't spoil the story? There are those small boney coins, worth spending early or save for some good stuff?

OP here, well honestly I didn't mean to shill the game, I usually walk other boards here on chan, and I bought this as it is on sale, that's it.
But since I don't have much time to play games, let alone do replays, I was just curious if there is some tip to not do the frustrated save cancel and roll all over again for some stupid shit.

when you die, you lose all your geo, leave behind a "shade", and get sent back to the last bench. but if you can make it back to your shade without dying again, you can kill it to get your geo back

Are there ranged weapons?
You'll get a charm later on that'll let you throw sword beams but only if you full health.
there is a ranged spell that costs soul, so there's a tradeoff with healing

Buy Simple keys if you see them.
Probably the quill and location charm. I think both are like 360geo or something. It will show you where you are on the map and update it as you go.
