Why has Kraid never been in a 3D Metroid game?

Why has Kraid never been in a 3D Metroid game?

Why don't you back the fuck off and stop oppressing 3D Metroid, shitlord

Reserving him for good games only.

because hes a shit boss and would be even worse in 3d

2big

he'll probably be in Prime 4

He'd look pretty silly unless he was heavily redesigned, imo.
Also, his main mechanic - shooting platforms out of his chest - wouldn't hold up too well in 3D.

he was going to be in prime 1 but jumping on belly spike platforms proved to be too difficult in 3d and he was cut.
here's his model.

Did the space pirates give him a lobotomy?

He's too fat.

Thank fuck, that's a terrible design.

He had his fucking head blown off by Samus, that design is metal as fuck.

>that design is metal as fuck.

Literally.

>Samus blows his head off
>The pirates just stick a computer where his brain should be and he keeps going

So basically he got the Freiza treatment

Too big

Did everything really have to be rengineered? It's a good thing they didn't put Kraid in there. Super Metroid managed to get back Kraid without it having to be a fucking mechanical edition. It probably only made sense because Kraid is a species native to Zebes. It would be stupid if they just started bringing all the Zebes species to Tallon IV. At least Ridley made sense because he's the commander, but Kraid would just be fan service.

Someone on Sup Forums once described Kraid as "a giant dinosaur that shoots his belly button lint at you" which was kind of a funny way to think of it.

>we get to see him in a Smash game before a 3D metroid game

>he appears on one of the worst stages that doesnt even look like Kraid's Lair in any game
ITS NOT FAIR

The area is supposed to be Norfair I think.

Thats not much better is it.
More metroid stages that are not lava based when?

She's too big for modern consoles to render properly.

>She

>one of the best stages

Fixed that for you.

She had a kid in Super Metroid?

I always assumed the piss colored liquid in brinstar was acid.
Also thought that thing at the back looked just like a ballsack.

This and Norfair from Brawl just remind me that everyone's interpretation of Metroid just seems to be random crap lying everywhere. Even Samus Returns is doing it a bit.

I know bitching about smash is tired at this point but I feel metroid stages are always really weak. There's so many cool locales but the stages end up being too gimmicky or uninspired.
Zebes in melee is probably the best one to play in, and even then it doesnt even look like Zebes
