I'm starting my second playthrough of this game, now that there's new content.

Any interesting sequence breaks or unsual routes worth checking out?

There's a major 1 hour glitched speedrun on youtube that can show you some tips and tricks.

There's a sequence break where you can pogo off your shade to get on the ledge above the charm lady's hut.

I'll check that out. I wonder how many glitches have been patched out, though.

They also have a new location to explore, like a new stag station and all that.
Plus they plan on releasing like 3 more free dlc packs in the future.

Man I wish I had a working PC right now but I'm stuck with this somewhat-dated laptop. Heard a lot of good stuff about this game but have been avoiding footage of it. I have a Switch and PS4 so I'm sure it's coming to one of those, hopefully soon. Actually upon googling it looks like all hands are on deck for Switch specifically, wonder why that is.

Eh, I don't think I'll be up for a third playthrough after this, unless the next packs are very enticing.

Next dlc are new areas for sure, there are places ingame, mostly on crystal peek and th deepnest that have some open paths but are locked down for now

You mean there are new paths that hint at new areas?

I tried to get into this but couldn't. The platforming controls are really stiff and often feel like they're fighting against you and it's difficult to space attacks since it isn't clear where your hitboxes are. The style and atmosphere are neat but the gameplay is clunky.

That's a shame, you missed a great game. The controls only require some getting used to, I've had no problems so far.

just be very careful and dont engage bosses if you are not with the right build and try to go early for the charms/pale ore to upgrade your character, once you pass the soul master the game becomes easier to predict
