It pulls a Bravely Default where you go through a bunch of recycled shit. You very slowly gather up all your party members again and all the better ones are at the end so you're stuck using shit characters like Row. Sena cuts her hair and looks ugky and Veronica dies.

The story progression is linear, but the world is very big and there's lots of side stuff.

It sucks because it would've been one of my favorite games ever if it just stopped halfway through, even though it'd be a little short. At the very end of the games, you go back in time and prevent the second half from happening, which is what should've happened in the first place.

Yeah, they just had to stretch out the length. It's not like Dragon Quest is one of the best-selling series in Japan ever or anything, so they didn't have the budget to make a real 2nd half.

My favorite part of Bravely Default was when I closed my 3DS in the middle of the final battle because I just didn't give a shit anymore and put it in a drawer, and when I came back to it later the battery was dead, and I popped the cart and put it in the case. Shit game.
