I hear this a lot and just don't agee at all. Basically the only reason people ever give is Genesis has a sword. Problem is, the sword isn't fun to use at all. Graphics aren't as good. Platforming isn't as good. Music and sound isn't as good. SNES Alladin is way better.

I own an equal amount of SNES and Genesis games (40-50). I noticed Genesis games are not as polished as SNES titles.
The SNES's best is greater than the Genesis's best. Genesis is better though if you like sports games, shmups, and arcade- like games though.

Alright first off that was probably a joke, second of all blast processing refers to a technical exploit game developers could use to "blast" information to increase processing speed slightly in certain situations, the term was just blown out of proportion and became a marketing term
