Sony has shit ideas and always feel mediocre. Nothing is terrible yet nothing pushes the boundaries. They did a lot with the PS1 and the PS2 sort of but current Sony just feels boring.

This seems about right. Xbox was always starting the shit that's wrong with the gaming industry like paid online, and Microsoft is still gonna make PC games without them.

I will catch that bait and tell you that they have the strongest early console lineup in current and previous gen at least. Nintendo releases their own original game about every month until the end of year. Next year at least 4 games to be released (Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon mainline game, etc.). Also this year will have few AAA games that will fill in the casual scum that buy this shit (Skyrim, NBA, FIFA) and few noticeable indies (already release or to be released, such as Rocket League). Remember it can be handheld, even if some of these games are going/were released on other platforms doesn't mean much in this case. You wont take PS4 or XO with yourself and play wherever you want.

Since the PS3, Sony has brought absolutely nothing worthwhile. The only first party games they release that get spotlight are cinematic trash and the others like Killzone and Knack are garbage. Their best exclusives are third party, which could appear on any other platform or PC without issues if Sony would disappear. Nothing of value would be lost. The PS4's main selling point was "We're not Xbox"
Microsoft had something going with the HUEG and its great variety of games, and the 360 had an excellent start. The trainwreck started with Don Mattrick and the Kinect, later the Xbone reveal absolutely sunk the brand to its lowest point. With new leadership, the brand has been piecing itself together since 2015. If they were to take a 10 year break to gather some first party devs and get a good lineup going, they could easily release a must-own console once again like the HUEG and 360 were.
Nintendo will always have their first party titles that I can count on, and they are always doing their gimmicks regardless of them being on top or in last place. We've seen disastrous results when modern Nintendo goes in first place (Wii) but we can already see Sony's innovation stagnating when they're at the top and how the hubris got to them with the launch PS3, and Microsoft would probably try to get rid of physical media again if they're left unchecked. Nintendo at the top would (hopefully) mean less jewish tricks.

Xbox is dead. Nintendo leaves. Sony dominates. That is kind of how things are at the moment. Xbox is fucking dead, and we have Sony and Nintendo hanging about.

This generation, they actually care about a visually appealing machine, not going full retard with the controller (let's forget the launch controller), supports actual backwards compatibility, has the best network infrastructure, ""free"" games that slaps the shit out of PS4's trash offerings and Nintendo's time limited roms, and lastly they actually showed PC and Switch some cross platform love. Paid online aside, they are actually the most consumer friendly of the three. No I don't own an Xbox One.
