I really enjoyed all the KH games, except I barely touched Birth By Sleep since I was moving at the time I started playing it and I didn't play that new KH 2.8 bit.

I was happy about the release of 1.5 and 2.5 so I could play the Final Mix versions of the games but rerereleasing the games on PS4 felt pretty dirty.

On that note, I'm happy with whatever they bring to the table, I can honestly say I loved all the KH games I've played, and I don't even mind the story.

desu they didn't evolve the series at all. KH2 did not live up to the progression of the first game and it just turned into a really cringey anime after that.

first game was amazing, gave lots of potential for where it could have gone. the second game had amazing art direction but the story sank.

now it's more of the same bull shit. desu they should have made the games get darker as Sora and the fan base got older. not edgey dark, but legit more serious. of course that's hard to do when you have freaking disney characters in it but I'm sure they could have done something with the series.

each game is already 99% disney world bullshit with the pervasiveness of the ff stuff limited to cameos, secret bosses, small asides during the main journey, then the bookends of it all are max modern square bullshit. you've pretty much got the majority of your wishlist fulfilled. never had a kh games whose combat i hated

it's cool if kairi surpasses him in raw power, because she's got that bullshit princess power that lets her give heartless human form, do AoE attacks, and who knows what else. aqua's on the opposite end of the spectrum where she has great skill, but in terms of power doesn't come close to terra's mastery of transformations, ventus' hard light conjurations and whatever he's got waiting from, riku's use of darkness, and sora's potential unlocked magic clothes, and tendency to play dirty

in terms of raw power right now though, no one really comes close to sora and riku's retarded slicing buildings in half and batting them hundreds of feet, besides maybe xehanort in that kh2 secret video using the whole keyblade graveyard as a weapon
