So, we're basically all in agreement that Warframe is pretty much the best, most fun game on the market right now, aren't we?
Nobody actually disagrees, surely.

Warframe is like PUBG, it has shit devs so it will never be a good game.
does it even draw in new players or is it purely turbonerds hopelessly addicted
I like it 2 op. Recently discovered. Having a blast
It's the good kind of mindless gameplay if you don't want to think about much while playing. Otherwise you may as well play something more involved.
Can't wait to see how badly they break the game when PoE comes out for it.
It has had a surge of new players lately. It's getting bigger than ever.
>being this Sup Forums

Amazing optimisation.
Better looking than most other games out there.
Yeah. Shit devs. Just the worst.
>every blade of the customized weapon is considered a new weapon for MR exp
My money is that it takes four days of farming either alertium 3.0 or whatever new materials they add to get a new head for your customized melee. And it'll still take a day in the foundry for you to use it between swapping parts.
And, of course, the customized weapon will be middling tier effective at most, and just a buffet of MR fodder at worse.
>Amazing optimisation.
Yeah right. It took them seven months to fix a performance bug with the codex scanner. You also need a 4ghz or higher CPU to break 100fps because of how terrible their LUA interpreter hammers one CPU core because it's calculated every god damn frame instead of on a timer.
This
I quit this garbage after a year because of the mindless grindfest. After a while it just becomes boring and repetitive, especially since they re-use the same levels over and over again just with different enemies and objectives.
>Hey it's the same map but this time go kill enemy 412 instead of enemy 321
Oh boy, I sure love spending hundreds of hours grinding dozen pieces of a material at a time to build one out of three pieces of warframe that needs THOUSANDS of that material.
Blow me faggot.
>complaining about getting lower than 100 fps
Absolute bullshit. I'm on a 6800k at stock and I get 144fps ingame. You are lying.
Not the best game but the best f2p game certainly.
Warbros oldfag reporting. Game sucks, skinner box, absolute turbonigger reddit crowd, even bigger baby devs.
You don't want this game for even your worst enemy. Have you uninstalled yet?
I wouldn't heap nothing but praise on it, but it's still a great game. There's a truck load of experimenting and versatility in it, customization is great, and I get to learn how to scam people.
>New content constantly.
'eh? They only add one new mode around every four months.
Unless you count new weapons/frames to grind in existing mission types 'new' content.
Post your MR and feelings on the game
>17
>Core gameplay of being a flipping space ninja is alright, not great but alright. The mountain of rng bullshit you have to become a great flipping space ninja is awful. Also the fact that it's still in open beta and still feel like an open beta is a major downside. All in all a solid 5.5/10
22. RNG bullshit only applies to recent Warframe quests. General key grinding and running void fissures isn't a big deal at all.
>new weapons and playable characters aren't new content because I say so
nigga please
I tried to get into it but everything dies the moment you point the gun at it. It's like playing diablo but you just shoot everything in the head instantly. Do bosses and mobs actually become something to fear, ever?
Oh yeah, forgot to add. Alerts only rewards are fucking retarded
Vault mods, ele dual status mods, new landing crafts, getting void traces to boost your odds of getting what you want from a relic, arcanes, I'm sure I'm forgetting more
even after 980 hours I still wholesomely enjoy it when I go back to play, but to say it's anywhere near the best is fucking idiotic
that kind of goes for any game though
The content is still far too lacking even after the decade or so they've been working on it, half of that being playable alpha/betas. Past your first 100 hours you've probably seen all the tilesets and all the mission types and it's just doing them over with new frames or weapons or whatever you're grinding.
It's a great timesink, not especially a bad game, just very, very grind heavy.
still the best F2P model I've ever seen in any MMO though, hands down.
Not really. Ever since they revamped the star chart, the difficulty has been pretty fucked. You can get 8 planets in and very rarely die or not murder things along the way. Isn't until around Neptune/Pluto will you start needing slightly better mods/weapons to one-shot enemies again.
Maybe if the devs played the damn game they'd realize they should ramp up the difficulty between planets more than just base level.
Yeah it's a shame, presentation and flow feels cool and it's pretty nice for a F2P game. The difficulty is a complete killer for me tho.
But that is exactly what new content means. It is just various levels of how much content.

Parkour system so far still hasn't been matched by any other third person shooter out there for me, so that alone makes it a 7/10. But with just how much fucking variety and options there are in the game, along with the great aethsetic of the frames and characters themselves, it keeps me hooked. I consider it an 8/10.
The cons that keep it from being better however are the obvious balance issues (why even use any of the other shotguns besides Tigris Prime), very questionable treatment of their fans, and the incessant grindframe that keeps eating at you.
Early on, EVERYTHING dies to a sneeze. It takes a bit but things will eventually escalate. Try sorties if you have them unlocked yet, they really help out in the challenge department.
Dual stat mods will come with time over playing outside of the hive-exclusive ones. Vault mods I'll give you though, although you can grind enough to trade for plat for the ones you want.
Landing crafts are more prestige than anything, as the Lisette (starter ship for those unfamiliar) has the best air support.
I might give it another shot when I get a 4K TV and the OneX later this year. It's a pretty good looking game.
Excalibur Prime master race reporting in.
M I D - T I E R
I've tried to get into it countless times but it has yet to sink its hooks into me. I'm pretty sure you need a good group of friends to enjoy it and I have no friends so.
DE won't let me keep the Easter rabbit ears due to "muh immersion", but it's A-OK for hoodie children to float around shooting Iron Man lasers
Fuck this game and its low RNG, and fuck DE
So are there a bunch of Prime frames you can't get anymore? I have not played for a while and last I heard they were putting some older ones in the 'vault' or something.
dat salt
near the end of the star chart, if you're still running half-made weapons or frames. or if so after that once you start doing sorties and kuuva.
Not far past that point it will go from "being afraid of them for a reasonable challenge/risk" to "if they touch you, you will die.
I want it, but only got into the game this year, and wouldn't have spent $100 to 'pre-order' a f2p game anyways. Will have to settle for Excal Umbra whenever that lands.
Also there's a lot of unused junk out of bounds in quite a few outdoor map tiles, and indoor. Lost track of the amount of "debug starting rooms" I've come across with the checkerboard textures.
Vaulting means you can't grind for their parts at the moment, you can still acquire them through trade chat with plat.
Trade chat is true end game
>Do bosses and mobs actually become something to fear, ever?
Once you move past the planets you'll start facing enemies that can one shot you in the blink of an eye, but of course the warframe abilities that you should be using are so ridiculously powerful that you'll be nuking them before they can fire off a single shot or have 99.99999% damage reduction so even if you get hit it won't really matter.
So, no, not really, unless everyone in your team has no idea what they're doing at all.
But if you can only acquire them from trading then aren't they absurdly expensive by now?
Didn't Chromatic Blade alone bump him back up into god-tier DPS status?
I left around the time the kubrows were released. I just lost interest. What's changed since then?
Depends entirely on the frame and the parts. It fluctuates hardcore.
For example, Nyx Prime was vaulted a good while ago but she's still pretty cheap.
I would play this game again when the open world update hits but I lost all my friends I used to play it with, and it's excruciating to play solo. So idk. I need another reason to pick it up.
Whats the best warframe to work towards at the moment, I haven't played in a bit
there are people who don't just play the new quest then bail until the next one comes out?
the game is excruciatingly boring to play
>New content constantly
One content patch every 8 months or so.
>Free to play
If you never touch the pay currency at all, you can only have 2 frames, in a game where certain frames are borderline unusable on certain missions, or at least guaranteed to make it an awful experience for everyone (see: frost on infested missions, ember on grineer missions)
>amazing optimisation
Have they fixed that one bug where the game randomly decides to crash during load screens? Or infested particle effects causing BSODs on certain GPUs?
>better looking
3/4 of the colors are unusably ugly. They do like one PBR a year to bring the Frames up from 2008 graphics.
>16
>Concept was cool, gameplay was fun for a long time, now they've fucked themselves into a meta harder than any other game ever made because of their shitty scaling system and inability to design more than 3 enemies without filling them full of stuns and grapples, so everything either trivializes the game or is completely useless.
Grindframe
That just means the game isn't fun. Any game is entertaining to play with people you enjoy being around, regardless of the quality of the game itself. If a game's mechanics and gameplay are boring and repetitive and can't stand on their own then it's just testament to the fact that it's a shitty game.
Still waiting on them to overhaul bosses that spend more time being invincible than not.
Loki always has and always will be the best frame because he's the only one without a weakness. He's extremely useful in 100% of the game's content.
Useful anywhere you don't need raw damage for speed clears. His CC is fantastic in LoR though.
You could start with Excalibur, build Rhino from pretty much the first planet, and easily play through every map node and finish your daily sorties

Naramon makes any frame Loki doe.
I'm under the impression that it's like Destiny, but in third person and free to play. But I've never played Destiny so I'm not quite sure.
Very incorrect.
dont bother, is just as bad but with meme hack n slash gameplay thrown in the mix.
Pretty much this.
The only thing he has of note nowadays is his 4, which is pretty damn great.
>repeat this over 5r00012312312 times
>get bored at level 5
meh
>naramon can make every enemy that is within draw distance completely and permanently harmless at any given time
Nowhere near the depth of Destiny, and that's saying something considering how shallow Destiny is.
It's like destiny but free and better,
Naramon = Broken cheese bullshit.
not that its the only thing in the game that is broken, but lmao, anyone that thinks that Warframe is close to even being challenging, its a fucking retard.

sos, but im certain we can agree Warframe players are fucking retards.
I haven't played since 2013. Is it any better now?
They shill it super hard on Steam and shit like that so it has a constant influx and turnover of new players. There are a couple thousand hardcore autists but the majority of the playerbase is made up of kids who will never see endgame and will spend hours babbling about their retardation in Region Chat.
It's really grindy, but I enjoy it because of the movement and combat yeah.
sum1 post the webm where the community manager wet herself on stream
I don't get this meme. It just takes extra time to shift frame and equipment.
I would rather get some old coptering webms if we have them
8, I love the game I haven't played long.
>instead of swapping between three frames for three different missions, you do two missions, delete one of those frames, and wait 3.5 days for the other frame to build so you can do the third mission
what meme. you only have 2 slots for different warframes, it has nothing to do with switching gear. you're stuck keeping one good frame you like and one expendable to delete if you want to try another frame
>Free to play.
ok
>New content constantly.
You mean new random guns to keep you busy and for them to rake in cash while they chug out another unfinished system only to never touch it again? There's tons of old unpolished content they refuse to touch because because only new content makes money. Then they use the beta tag as an excuse. (yes the game is still in open beta)
>Amazing optimisation.
yeah unless you ever use 32-bit mode or multi-threaded rendering and the game struggles to stabalize
>Better looking than most other games out there.
ok
>Yeah. Shit devs. Just the worst.
yeah exactly, they don't even play their own game (literally, the lead dev only actually played the game for the first time at the start of this year) and just listen to shitty players on the forums to balance things. For some reason they think a pve game should be balance like a fucking pvp game and they nerf everything that's powerful no matter how hard it may be to optimize or max out.
>grind same shit place for keys to go to another place and grind some more
>grind grind grind get some other shit to sell on the market so you can unlock more frame slots
>Grind grind grind more for cool cards so you don't do shit damage
it has graphics going for it I guess
but everything else is eh, none of it is explained, there's barely any instructions on what to do
and if you ask for help people splurge 2 hour tutorial videos at you like an autist
Where do I grind for Loki prime? I haven't played in ages.
>you can only have 2 frames
If you're an idiot, sure, but common sense would dictate that you'd grind plat in trade chat to buy more slots. I guess thats too complicated for you.
>frost on infested missions
because frosts only ability is the globe right? kys
>You mean new random guns to
I mean new content. This is new content. Whine about it all you like, it is new content.
>yeah unless you ever use 32-bit mode or multi-threaded rendering and the game struggles to stabalize
Try running the game on something other than your dad's commodore 64 and you'll be amazed at how well it runes.
>yeah exactly, they don't even play their own game (literally, the lead dev only actually played the game for the first time at the start of this year)
Just stop, pause for a second, and reflect on how fucking stupid you sound when you say shit like this.
>meme
please stop using this word incorrectly tia
Installed this game after a big break and now there's this operator thing that is what controls warframes, but why does my operator look like a fucking ape? I tried my best to use the horrible customization tool but it still looks like a shitskin even on the most light color and cant get rid of the ape nose.

It's probably the best free to play game, I don't know about the "best game on the market"

Is this the greatest twist in all of storytelling?
Pretty burnt out on it for awhile now, the new update does look pretty interesting though so I'm gonna pick it up again when that drops.

Game is fun but is never challenging, either easy or you get one shot by basically everything
Grind is incredible, and annoying. Currently waiting for my 2nd frame to craft, (frost) took 12 hours to make the components and i have to wait 3 days to actually use it. Wait timers are stupid.
I wouldnt be playing still if i didnt get the dex sybaris and other dex weapons when i made my account.
How can you retards enjoy this steaming pile of shit? It's just mindless grind and the gameplay is complete garbage. All the enemies are boring trashmobs and they all instantly die.
My friend got an argon scope for 20p from a mastery rank 2 player one time.
Mastery Rank 24
Once you have anything in the game content are just temp windows of some kind of simulation after that you are just wait for more content.
oh they released x? building it could take 12 hours up to 5 days. 90% of the time that x item is useless so just rank it to 30 and wait for more content
even the major updates only take an hours time to actually do
>wait a whole year for one hour of real content
atleast with the plains update they understand their problem people are facing.
