I played FP duo today. It's okay. I think until collision issues are fully fixed (like the barred windows) it's meh. I did feel like it was easier to remain undetected, of course.

First circle does no damage. I've been two minutes behind the blue wall, leaving a town on foot, and seen vehicles drive past me in the other direction. You have like 20 minutes before the blue starts doing real damage and that's doable with a fairly basic amount of healing items. It's not suggested because it feels like playing in the blue will always get you on the "fat" gap where the wall does move faster than the "skinny" gap, but hey, if you're playing in the blue, that's on you isn't it

i like to put good weapons in the room i'm camping in, and when they come in, some of them will just look at it for me to just wait to shoot until he sees me or kill him with a melee weapon. works in houses on the edge of the circle because people will likely come in

I was using "FoTM" as a figure of speech. As far as I'm aware the game is lots of RNG with spawns and loot involved, so it's not like it's going to have any kind of eSports scene surrounding it to give it the kind of longevity shit like CS:GO has. By this time next year it'll be a complete ghost-town once the devs inevitably take the money and run.

You have pretty poor foresight then, the only way PUBG dies or slows down is if DICE release one with big funding, whole studio working on it. They could launch with 3-5 maps of this size easily, or do the smart thing and make it 4x4km and 50 players instead. There would be less downtime, and a smaller map would have less big ass fields of nothing. Again, H1Z1 hasn't done shit with the game in almost a year when the existing map came out and even before that there hasn't been a new weapon since mid 2015. That game somehow still has 100k people on daily.

The idea of sandbox garbage has been around forever. These early access scam games only suddenly cropped up because technology to make games got better.
