Well, I haven't talked about Until Dawn for a while. Can we?

Well, I haven't talked about Until Dawn for a while. Can we?

Is this The Thing: 2017 edition?

>2017

No.

Played it on a friend's PS4 and saved everyone on the first playthrough, I wanted to replay it to let everyone die but I didn't have time. It's pretty good for a movie-game, I enjoyed it. My only complaint is some characters were a bit too bland, I've already forgotten their names 2 weeks later

...

I fucked up, the black guy died for me, pretty cliché.

Nos even worth replaying to get that throphy, it was fun for one playthrough though.

Jess is all that matters.

sure, the game was terrible.

I-I liked it. :(

What did you not like about it?

Is there any way to get the models ripped from this game yet?

You're not gonna try to make porn of it are you user?

the gameplay, the writing, the camera mechanics, lack of actual player input (everything seems to be predetermined no matter what), so much of the game is just pure horror movie schlock, that uses the worst medium to execute it's message..

The gameplay was basically just quicktime events.

I liked the camera because it reminded me of the fixed camera from early Resident Evil games, and I'm a nostalgia faggot.

The player input changed the journey, but not the destination.

I like horror movie schlock.

So in short I pretty much agree with everything you said. I just got what I wanted out of the experience (to feel like I was in a campy horror movie). So this was all fine with me.

You Guys Excited for the Sequel Prequel? And the other game Supermassive is coming out with? They both look cool il probaly pick them up

Yeah I'm in.

>I liked the camera because it reminded me of the fixed camera from early Resident Evil games
the camera shared nothing good with the early RE games. the game mechanics clashed with the presentation the entire way through the game. it was all terrible.

I liked it a lot
Sam is best girl, Jess is great too

I just beat this for the first time a couple hours ago. Made it all the way until tonight without reading any spoilers, though the Josh thing was obvious and the rest I had collected enough clues to figure out myself. Also, the fake out deaths were too obviously not final since they were off screen in an otherwise ultra graphic game.
Lost Ashley and Sam in the ninth and tenth chapters, but kept everyone else.

It was fun, but way too stuck in cliches. I thought it would be a chance to go through a horror movie with my own logic as guidance, but it only lets you advance by thinking like a horror movie (aka running head first into danger at any chance you get).

Favorite detail: depth of field changes when you move closer or further away from the camera. I haven't noticed that in a game since Final Fantasy IX.

I don't know but I support you in your endeaver

How'd your first playthrough go? I finished my first the other week and not sure if I'm going to play again. I ended up with everyone but Josh living.
