ftfy. Seriously, i installed SFV back again yesterday and quite frankly, im appalled by how much content is locked away from me by default. Characters, costumes, stages.

Basically any game that isn't by crapcom or NRS.

If you are mainly into it for story: MK9, MKX (maybe Injustice 2, didn't play it so can't vouch for it.

If you want the best fighter:

The King of Iron Fist Tournament 7

If your some kind of autist that swears by 2D fighters and doesn't appreciate the glory that is Tekken and Virtua Fighter, then maybe "GG Xrd Revelator 2" or King of Fighters XIV.

Tekken plays the same as it did since 1999 when Tag 1 was released.

How come no one ever calls that out? No evolution except graphics and juggle properties (which is universally hated).

T7 is a joke. SFV is a joke. I would recommend Injustice 2 to beginners than those games.

I like KoFXIV, but I think GG and UNIST are both solid choices. Tekken if you like 3D.

Great game to play with normal people. Fags who play fighting games 'pro competitive' style just zone the shit out of it though.

So does SF. It's hard to improve something that's already established as good. Everytime they add a new gimmick in a desperate attempt to keep the SF games fresh, people hate it and they remove it in the next game.

It's because you're wrong and they do try some new things now and then. Sometimes its met with bad rep, like with Tekken 4. The most recent system is pretty good. I don't mind rage arts, rage drives, rage, breakers.
