I never had a problem with this mission
the gta mission i had to retry the most often was the final challenge of the driving school in san fiero, god damn getting gold meant a perfect race it was so hard
Espresso to Go is
This mission gave me ptsd
...
I don't remember this, where's it from?
It's very easy on PC.
Train
Just start from the top floor and work your way down
That mission drove me to commit genocide against the Cholos.
That's a stupid strategy because you don't have to fly back after setting the last bomb down.
I had more trouble with the fire truck and the strip club mission.
GTA Vice City Stories. The most underrated gta game.
Just land behind the trucks and shoot.
The hardest missions were from gta 3 because of the shitty controls.
There was one where you had to snipe people on the ship and protec someone and another where had to stop a car from taking too much damage while they tried to kill you.
I never finished the game as I couldn't be bothered to fight the gang wars. That shit was tedious, and a requirement for unlocking the final mission. Fuck that.
I'll have to check it out, vice city was my fav but never played VCS. I hope the music is still as good.
thanks doc
I'm pissed none of the other games used the Building/Businesses system
Converting half of Vice City into brothels was fun
Are you emulating the PSP version and using the 60fps hack? If so, disable it for that mission, the timer is tied to the framerate. I tried that mission so many times before I realized I was failing because I had half the time I was supposed to have.
>I didn't finish san andreas because I didn't want to!
Truely a pleb excuse
Fuuuuuck this.
And fuck Espresso-2-Go from III.
VCS and LCS never did get the recognition they deserve.
I think the problem people have with this is that they keep accelerating thus increasing speed making it hard to control, just coast and you save combustible and it's easy to maneuver.
Playing LCS on my psp for the first time was probably the most blown away I've been by technology.
The game has Phill Collins as a voiced character.

fuck Zero's plane mission and fuck all the people who pretend like it's EZPZ every time someone complains about it on Sup Forums
>Conquer all territories
>Fucking plot bullshit that makes you lose everything
>Have to conquer everything all over again.
Tony is a top tier GTA protag for sure. I was blown away that they got a full quality PS2 game running on PSP at the time
VCS has the best property development of all the GTA games.
Fuck RC missions in general. Thank goodness HD era didn't have any.
I almost conquered all the territory, but ran into this weird thing where there were a couple random tiny yellow blocks left. Like, barely big enough to cover a bit of sidewalk. If I drove around randomly I could occasionally get 1 or 2 dudes to spawn but never enough to start the gang war to capture it
It was easy for me. I dunno why. I spend forever trying to get gold in flying school and never did, though. No Hunter for me. Hell, even just getting bronze or whatever you need to get the next Toreno mission was hard.
It's definitely one of the harder missions but I never found it to be as difficult as people make it out to be
All golds in driving school was much more difficult, especially the final one where you have to get through the city
I literally never had any trouble with this mission.
They were ported to the PS2 a while after the PSP releases. Shame there was never a San Andreas based stories game.
I just realised it's been 4 years since GTA 5 came out.
New one next year?
Low on stamina? Let me just scorch past you near the finish line.
>In the previous editions of San Andreas the plane would run out of fuel even if you didn't accelerate
Having a very high muscle actually made CJ's running speed slower and stamina drain faster
I know that but the games were PS2 quality on handheld and that was neat, especially compared to the N64-lite on DS at the time
That's what happens when you skip leg day.
I did the exact same thing but with drug labs, you could upgrade them and shit too, god that game had the business thing perfect.
Meanwhile in GTA V
>you bought the golf course?
>lol you can now play golf in regular clothes
>taxi business?
>have a shitload of generic taxi missions
That part in Vice City where you had to grind to get money to buy the Malibu Club was a pain in the dick as well. Must be why they halved all asset prices in the mobile version.
wtf is dis real?
Yep.
Optimum is about 50-75% muscle
You really don't need the melee damage boost that badly, the better running is so much more useful
Vice City Stories from PSP. You should play all the PSP GTAs, specially Chinatown wars one, they are very underrated.
I did this first attempt on PC.
What I couldn't do was the 'Alley-Oop' car stunt
>high muscle actually made CJ's running speed slower
What in hell's fuck? The stamina makes sense, sure, but sprinters are ripped as fuuuark.
>get through this mission with bleeding anus
>finally, now I can get back to enjoying the ga-
>toy copter mission
Is there even hard content in gta4?
I mean, it feels like with good controls and gameplay being same for every mission, it can't be hard as some 3d universe games.
>pop in car hits you
>taxi turns as you overtake him
>random car rams you
>all in a time limit
hell on earth
Did they halve the prices in the ps4 version, because i had no issue with that at all.
JESUS TONY YOU DRIVE LIKE A DICK
Turn right out of the school, drive down the train line, skip half of the town.
>JESUS TONY YOU DRIVE LIKE A DICK
Pretty sure it's Bitch not Dick.
Is there a cheat to go back to when I played San Andreas for the first time?
>is this the dark souls of
Op you meming retard.
You niggers need to learn how to cancel out momentum with the rudders
When it was still enormous, magical and you could actually get lost because you jad no GPS showing you the exact line to take?
>getting dropped in the country without a fucking clue what you were doing or where you were
Fuck that stupid fucking mission. Made me lose complete interest in the story mode multiple times
Who thought that was fun?
At least unlike shitty Zero mission here you could have fun and go fast
This moment was so beautiful
>there a huge mountain and you must climb it
>on a bike
>mfw played this mission on a laptop
Never again.
last mission is pretty hard in a sense that if you fuck up (lose in the last chase by being too slow or just losing Dimitri/Pegerino) you have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN (5 minutes long trail, shootup in casino, etc)
Needed for me to do it like 5 times because I get mysteriously blown up by an rpg as soon as I got to the boat
After replaying it recently it still amazes me that they managed to get a game that big to run on the PS2.
>friends at school couldn't do those rc plane missions
>gives me their memory cards so i'd do it for them
i used to be important
>all you had to do was hit the damn jetty with the sanchez niko
marathoner=/=sprinter
I remember getting a tank and doing the vigilante missions to get cash for it. Easy money.
This. Always done it this way.
Yes but doing it that way means fewer enemies for the longer runs to the top floor and you'll still have plenty of time.
this and "CJ learn to fly" were pure torture on my shitty laptop.
Some of the scripted chases may be tough on first try. Like the one where you follow the train, and it might be confusing as to choosing the correct road and fail all the sudden, or the one where you chase the bikers and they're invulnerable until you pass a magic barrier. If you focus on shooting you can easily end up crashing and failing the mission. Or the one mission where the weed negro needs to shoot an rpg to down a helicopter, he has a lousy aim.
Missions are generally easy as fuck in IV but some of them have such ridiculous gameplay elements which may cause you to fail.
I recently played that mission and it actually has a bug that makes it impossible to beat. I raged so incredibly hard when I failed it a few times for no apparent reason and had to do it all over again, only to realise you literally can not finish the mission without some retarded work-around system.
the train is a dumb meme. i finished that shit on my first try.
The most frustrated I have ever been was doing the fire truck missions in SA because at either 11 or 12 someone would either jump down of a cliff or run up a mountain and it would be impossible to put them out. I had to do it about 9 or 10 times and it happened everytime, I never get mad at vidya but I was on the verge of tears because I thought the game was doing it on purpose.
CJ's max muscle is like, twice as large as that Sprinter though.
>When you unlocked the Hunter and became the richest motherfucker in the world thanks to Brown Thunder vigilante missions
wait there are on foot races?
>no San Andreas remake with updated graphics and multiplayer modes and achievements
Yeah, sprinters, people who run like 400 meters at most and then call it quits.
The original with Widescreen Fix and SkyGFX is still great.
Too bad unlocked framerate will forever be bugged.
I rage quit and deleted the game because of this mission no joke. Fuck that game
Is there a way to play LCS or VCS on pc?
idk how well they run but PSP and PS2 emulators exist
This mission is infamously hard but only because people were retards and didnt realize that Fuel gauge was actually a fuel gauge and not a timer. It only goes down when you gun the engine.
both of those are no problem at all if you take your time to do them properly and don't rush it. the occassional kill is probable but usually it should work
this mission is fun as FUCK. never understood the hate for plane and helicopter missions in general but I also did them on the pc so there's that
I hated this more
I want to play as a cop in the next GTA Tbh
more like this
The problem isn't fuel, the problem is PC controls being a fucking joke. Same reason flying school was such nightmare to get through. I heard these missions were easy as fuck on consoles.
just buy a cop game
All the other cop games suck tho
Then why don't you want a good cop game instead of a gta cop game
>first plane test in flight school
>didn't realise I could retract the landing gear
>wondering why the fuck I couldn't go high enough to hit the rings
SA had genuinely bad missions.
It was the start of including scripting in GTA missions, which is the cancer of all games from SA onwards.
The Snow Storm and If The Price Is Right were brutal on my most recent play-through.
I always buy the malibu club first
