backtracking in like sm or zero missions is fine because of the shit taht 2d allows you to do, problem is back tracking in the 3d metroid prime games where even with double jump or grapple hook or w.e. because it is so much harder to go up you spend a lot more time just moving between places. I am fully expecting (and hoping) that prime 4 has teleport stations

I don't know why this is so frequently asked. We've been given an official answer. In the Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt demo, the background of the menus describes the suit's features. One section points out that the pauldrons hold ammunition. It may or not specify missiles. Can't recall.
