Why would it be? They make the majority of their revenue by selling games, they're still in a major plus if the games sell, no matter whether or not it's a Valve developed or published game. Making a game now, especially just in response to someone else's success, is just a poor investment. Also, you don't know if PUBG's success will even be long term or will it drop off the map in the near future.
