What's the Fallen Angels of vidya?

What's the Fallen Angels of vidya?

>Implying plebs here know what Fallen Angels is

>implying anyone on Sup Forums but us have actually seen this
Sup Forums's taste in movies is just as horrid as their taste in vidya.

Fallen Angels isn't obscure at all. It's literally babby's first Asian hipster film.

Fallen Angels is entry level nipflick. Do you think Chungking Express is obscure too?

>Fallen Angels
>nip
Called it.

There's no reason to pretend that Angels is better than In The Mood or Chungking. They're leagues ahead.

And there's no need to be elitist fuckwits over super popular films by the single most famous Chinese director not working in Hollywood.

Well to me it feels like it should be a video game. Are there any games with a Wong Kar Wai style at all?

...

What is the crazy family of vidya?

>thinking kar wai wong is obscure
plebs

It'd have to be a overly stylized game from the 90s that has early MTV music video visuals.

FF8 comes close visually and atmospherically, I guess.

this. Chunking Express and In The Mood for Love are both in my top 10 of all time, but I don't pretend they're some super obscure intellectual films to make me feel superior to 'plebs'.
his style doesn't lend itself to video games, really, except maybe visual novels. i don't know if there's been any inspired by his work. i don't doubt there is though.

>FF8 comes close visually and atmospherically, I guess.
how

NieR: Automata(2017) by Yoko Taro

Are you kidding me?

>overly stylized game from the 90s that has early MTV music video visuals

Did you even read my post?

how does that apply to FF8?

Taro is a genius

my interactive vlog, desu

Angels is better compared Chungking since Chunking has its stories inconsistenty spread out throughout the film.
What i mean is the first story feels too short and disjointed from the second one.Angels is more balanced overall while also having stories collide with eachother which creates a better harmony in the film.It is also has ''cooler''tones.I love both of them but Angels is simply better.
Chung feels more like an experiment that eventually lead to Angels.

fuck off retard

>it's a brainlet thinks his taste is superior to everyone else's because he grabbed the first entry level nip/chink/gook flick he saw on Sup Forums episode
fucking Christ, how do you people take yourself seriously

Oh look, the capeshit lovers have come out of their hiding holes.

>implying i get my recommendations from Sup Forums of all places
>implying i only follow asian cinema

Did you literally just post a random meme for the pure fuck of it without even trying to align it with the contents of my post at all?

There's nothing like it unless you consider the narrative structure of following multiple protagonists in the same setting and meeting each other, which is what SaGa games do.
Kaneshiro really did a splending job in that movie, possibly one of his best interpretations.
