It's not terrible, but the decent games on 3DS are few and far between, especially if you're not super into 1st party Nintendo rehashes

There's a shitload of flaws, like resolution, easy paint wear, wiggly hinges, etc.
But it's still my favorite device to play games on overall, with the library, menu, and 3D all being stuff I generally prefer over most other stuff out today. It's a good little handheld, not a perfect one.

Low resolution and terribly quiet speakers with little to no online capabilities. I also had a hard time finding a game to put time into besides Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy Explorers.

There's half of the game the DS had, most of the good franchises that were on DS migrated to the Vita of all things or died off, the 3DS is a MH machine with a handful of good games here and there like Metal Max 4 or Alliance Alive, all the rest is kiddy shit nobody but normalfags care about, the 3DS' library is the worst of all Nintendo's handhelds, there's not even a fucking Shiren game on it.

It is the physical number of pixels though. Less pixels = less power to the screen. The PSP would last around 5 hours which is the same one the 3ds with 3d turned off though

I love the 3DS but the joypad/circle thingy sucks and the original 3DS' corners were too sharp for me. XL gives me hand cramps.

The whole screensize/resolution thing is a weird complaint, because all the games on the thing were designed with that resolution in mind. I can't think of a single game I played on the thing where I thought "This game is unplayable, but would be better with a sharper screen".

Like, yeah, I'm not saying a sharper screen wouldn't have been better, because it would have, but just because it didn't have something doesn't mean it's not worse off because of it. It doesn't have bluetooth connectivity or a 3G internet connection, but you don't hear people complaining about that.

My one real complaint, though, is they NEVER FUCKING FIXED THE TOP SCREEN SCRATCH PROBLEM.
