If Persona 5's main theme was stylish UI's and music

If Persona 5's main theme was stylish UI's and music

What will Persona 6's theme be?

Dicks

It will be cyberpunk

Screenshot this

when will they actually improve menus instead of slapping some fancy skin? they've been using the same shit since 3

How would you improve them? They function perfectly fine.

They did completely revamp the battle menu

changing equipments is a pain in the ass, at least categorize them or give me the option to sort them

I think SMTIV does this

yeah it's great but I'm referring to the menu

good gameplay haha just kidding

How is it a pain? What do you mean by categorize? It only shows what equipment the person you have selected can equip, so most of the time there's only like 1 or 2 options in the menu. I don't understand how you can streamline that any more,

I have one of the bullshit SP ring and I cycle them between characters whenever someone gets low. Whenever I unequip it, it gets lost in the sea of useless crap.

If the page is tabulated according to their categories, if they let you mark stuff as favourites or just sort alphabetically then this wouldn't ve a problem.

Hm. I never ran into that problem, but fair enough I guess.

But it is improved?

They already used that theme

yeah it may be nitpicking but it's an area they can improve on nonetheless

aesthetically, yes
functionally, it's the same shit

>they've been using the same shit since 3

Being able to actually equip your characters equipment anytime, as opposed to having to talk to them is an improvement they've had since then.

I guess. Other than tiny nitpicks tho there's nothing they really can improve. They obviously focused their efforts on improving other, more important things, and it shows.

Green color scheme

good point, another thing along that line that they changed is that you can switch party members in dungeons instead of having to go out and talk to them to switch

>Green
literally worst color

like what

Fuck, where to start.
>Having confidants text you when they're available
>Being able to see what confidants are available on the map
>Streamlining the battle menu
>Adding 2 new elements in battle
>Baton Pass
>Handcrafted dungeons
>being able to actually sprint and climb stuff
>stealth and looting
>confidant abilities
>New Velvet Room functions
>Persona negotiation
>guns
>crafting tools
>fighting personas instead of shadows

It's been a while since I played it, so I'm obviously forgetting things, but they really did improve tons of things.

I'm honestly already dreading P6 since the Persona heads aren't going to be on it anymore and Sega/Atlus are being super aggressive with the milking.

>I'm honestly already dreading P6 since the Persona heads aren't going to be on it anymore

Well it's not the first time this has happened. I wonder how the old Persona fans felt when Tadashi, and Kaneko left after P2EP.

It'll be better than 3-4-5 precisely because these hacks won't be doing it anymore.

2bh they should be grateful Atlus has a huge respect for them and doesn't touch/butcher them with spin offs and flanderization.

Well, the music will never be able to top P3.

How about a cast and story that wouldn't be garbage if it wasn't a video game?

Thats a two way street though. Yes they should be happy that P1/P2 remained the same but I don't think the aversion to the first two games Atlus showed up until the remakes/P4D DLC was the right thing either.

the gameplay improvements they've made are really great but one thing that stood out in particular for me was you still can't fucking go home without wasting your after school period

seriously what the fuck atlus

Why in a million years would you ever want to do that?

why am I not able to? what if there's nothing to do outside that I can spend on playing video games or make tools?

I'm convinced after three games that it must be an engine limitation.

The theme of Persona 5 wasn't a fancy UI or music you fucking dumby. Persona games all had good UIs and music. Its just menus, it doesn't make up the whole game. If anything, Persona 5's general menu theme was just red, while 3 was blue and 4 was yellow/gold

It can't fucking be. They've used at least two engines since P3, probably more. It's more like there's no reason for you to do so.

That never happens tho. There is literally always something to do. There's no point whatsoever in just going home in wasting a day.

Not him but it would be nice to have the option of using both time slots to craft tools, play games, or whatever. You should have a choice, and the fact it forces time to pass is just weird.

Oh shit, I misunderstood what he was saying, then. Yeah, I agree with that, I never understood why they did that either. Probably some strange attempt at balancing things.

P3, 4 and 5 can take up to 80-90 hours to complete.

How many of them are actual gameplay and story and not dating, standing and minigame shit?

Can you define dating, standing, and minigame shit?

We'll probably get P6 in 10 years from now tho, I'm sure it will be something interesting

You actually could not be more wrong, it is physically impossible

Persona 6 NEEDS to use whatever the fuck genre(s) you'd file TWEWY's music under.

>only being able to control one party member
ok

But user thats already what SMT is

Real life is already cyberpunk.

I felt pretty terrible.

It will be the same plus more
