Persona 3 remake in the P5 engine when?
Persona 3 remake in the P5 engine when?
graphics aren't what this game needs improving.
Sure, but if they remake it they'd obviously improve the gameplay too.
ok, everyone was talking about a remake and some of their ideas are great(like teammate social link) and this might be too much for, changing confidants. obviously people want some shit from p5 in game etc.
but what i really wonder is someone in Sup Forums who said "make tartarus better"
how the fuck are they supposed to make tartarus better?
i mean, if tartarus is the same, we can just aswell play the original. people say they want a remake with less shittier tartarus. but how? is such a thing possible? (btw i love tartarus, but apart from visually updating it, what can they do to improve tartarus?)
imo, that game doesn't require a remake. if they are to remake it, they need to go all-out, change confidants and tartarus.. sooo let me hear your fan shit about a better tartarus
Probably not unitl after 5's revision if at all. They're too early into 5's milking for them to re-release full on remake of an older game. You're going to have to wait for a "dead zone" before that happens.
Put more emphasis on the full moon events, make them way more in depth so tartarus is more like mementos.
I know this is kind of extreme, but I think they should replace tartarus's randomly generated blocks with hand crafted dungeons like P5. As it is now, Tartarus is pretty much a huge slog. Nothing interesting ever happens in it until you reach the top block. The only thing stopping you from just running right through every floor as fast as possible is that you need to lvl up to beat the bosses. I think it's possible to make that change while still preserving the original atmosphere and feel of Tartarus, so I'd be really happy if they did. P5's dungeons really make it hard to go back to Tartarus, since it's just soooooo uninteresting.
not the story/characters though.
for nintendo switch right?
Dude, this isn't persona 4 and 5, that is the point. You can't just go and make moon bosses unique dungeons and make tartarus a mementos. Moon bosses are 1 day events and the tartarus progress is important.
They are milking persona 3 as well with the new dancing game, it wouldn't hurt to use those assets and persona 5's engine to make a remake.
You mean the good part of the game?
I don't even want a remake. I just want a PES + Portable so I can control my party and walk around.
One or the other is fucking bs.
And? In persona 4 and 5 dungeons are pretty much one day events.
no, he means the incredibly poorly paced part of the game.
atlus handcrafting 265 floors.. they won't lol. but lets say they did, what they can do? oh shit, come to think of it, it is a weird ass tower in the middle of nowhere they can literally put anyshit inside it.. welp, if you have ideas what to put inside, share them too. I am not a fan of remakes and i want people to convince me to a remake(so that i can fantasize about it and it never happens)
if anything persona related comes to nintendo switch i'll fucking kill myself(and they probably will come to nintendo switch)
that shit is dead yo, why are you wanting games for that shit. the only interesting shit on it is mario odysshit, that shit really looks nice, other than that, it is a crapmachine. people are wanting games for it because it is nintendo machine, you know, being nintendo fan is good. so if a persona is released for that shit, switch will be a machine with literally 2 games and that shit is 1000 dollars in my country, so i'll cry in a corner not being able to play persona. sooo-nope. for the sake of everyone(especially me) nope.
As long as they let me control my fucking teammates.
Don't give me that "realism because you can't control your friends irl" bullshit.
>They are milking persona 3 as well with the new dancing game
Yeah but it's not a stand alone release as its part of one game with P5's dancing shenanigans. Expecting a P3 remake anytime soon, especially since you know a P5 fighting game will hit before P5's revision drops is silly.
I'd rather get an SMT1/SMT2 remake, even if it's probably gonna be stuck on Switch/3DS.
>lets say they did, what they can do?
Just make each section have a different theme/layout and bullshit the reason being it represents parts of the collective unconsciousness or something.
in 4 and 5, they are "pretty much" one day events, you still grind-progress in them. in persona 3 they are literal 1 day events, you progress tartarus. and you can't make tartarus a mementos because you investigate that shit, it is important.
well, if they remake it, i am pretty sure they'll add that. and it is still realistic in persona 4 and 5, "direct commands" you literally tell everyone what to do. sound bad but yea.
Well, obviously they wouldn't handcraft 265 floors, that would be insane. I'm saying that maybe they could make a few dozen really big floors, and each time you go up the stairs it would go up 10 floors or something. Or maybe have a few dozen handcrafted floors, and every floor between those is normal RNG stuff.
One day events where most of the story happens, hardly any story happens in tartarus until the end.
> it's not a stand alone release as its part of one game with P5's dancing shenanigans
You have a source on that?
oh, this is doable as well. in tartarus there are blocks, but blocks doesn't mean that much. you can even add block to blocks(dawg) and make them really different from eachother. they may even add puzzles(persona 5 style, not hard shit)
welp, yea things get interesting. i start to want a remake as well if they change the tartarus/add s-links.
If the p3 dancing reveal didn't make you think "they are going to use these assets to remake p3" you are dumb as hell.
Its free money.
why? 2 deserves it far more, even if 1 doesn't.
And between persona 3 and 5, not much has changed game design wise so they could literally just use the engine of p5 and reuse the majority of its programming.
i played 1 with emulator 1300% speed. even with that normal encounters were too much. i played psp and enjoyed the music(when i wasnt fast forwarding). definetely don't want a remake lol
about 2.. well they didn't release eternal punishment psp to west so, they have no hope for us. glorious nippon steel chin chongs don't seem to care about 2 either.. soo, full hd hitler attacking with holy lance at incredible hihg textures is a dream :/
See
I'd expect they'll use Unreal 4 instead since that was kind of a big deal for Atlus showing off a fuckton of their demons in a trailer just for a UE4 project on Switch. If it means dodging the limitations of the PS3 and Vita this time, I'd be all for it.
>UE4
>P5's battle interface
>old anime cutscenes replaced with footage from the movies
>completely reworked dungeon design for The Answer
>new areas to explore in Port Island
Any objections?
I'd appreciate it if the fusion mechanics were tweaked so you could see what each skill did.
>old anime cutscenes replaced with footage from the movies
Hell no. Make brand new cutscenes by Production I.G.
Give me my goddamned Compendium in The Answer. I don't care if I have to start from scratch; just give it to me.
Soon hopefully
Bring all the QoL improvements implemented in P4 and P5 to the game, like fast travel and being able to see skill descriptions from the fusion menu
Give full party control and rebalance the game around it
Rewrite all the social links that aren't Sun, Tower, and Devil
Well, you fight one of the arcanas at the end of each "session" of tartarus, we could have ten floors being randomly generated, and five special floors dedicated to the boss arcana, and inside the tartarus there would be anything, a decadent castle bathed in twilight, a burning battlefield, a warship in the middle of a storm, even places that have some connection with the characters, the broken bridge where the mc parents where killed, the laboratory where Yukari father died, anything really.
Tartarus is more or less an eldritch location, it could be midnight outside and yet you could still end up in a place where the sun is shining high in the sky, you could open a door and discover that it opens to the middle of a desert, or even to an abandoned space station, if tartatus represents the despair and desire for self-destruction that lurks inside every human, then it should contain the fragments of humanity greatest tragedies, not just some night club lookalike dungeon copy&pasted until the end of time.
I'd much rather a Nocturne remake in the P5 engine with a femi-fiend option
Sounds fucking dope. I seriously hope they do this.
Persona 4 Golden remake first.
Hopefully never
Fuck going through tartarus again.
It will happen. Atlus is the fucking King of milking a franchise. With the new P3 models they've made for the dancing game, it's only a matter of time. The only question is where will they fit it in between milking P5?
Why the hell is everyone calling it milking? They're not just shitting out low effort cash grabs, the games have all been really good.
No FeMC No Buy if a persona 3 remake happens
>the games have all been really good.
Arena games were kusoge. Q and DAN played well enough but flanderized the characters beyond belief.
Why the fuck did P3P remove the dedicated Dark Hour time period?
Did it matter?
It'd be pretty funny if the reason they made new models for P3 guys was to shove em in a remake.
>he isnt content with playing FES and Portable with FeMc
>he wants to go through the Tartarus shitfest again, but prettier looking
why?
They have to remake persona 4 at least 5-6 more times before they can remake P3FES.
They'll remake Persona 4 first
