RIP PYRRHA

who?

I sent Hedwyn home first. Duder was kind enough to pick me up off the floor and set me up right.

I left the imp, the sap, and the crone. They got along fine in the downside.

hedwyn, though i regretted it later
pamitha, bertrude, ti'zo, oralech

ORALECH DID NOTHING WRONG

If he wanted to go home, he shouldn't have let Ti'zo fuck him up in the midfield.

Just finished it. Fuck that was underwhelming. I was hoping there was a traitor or some way to alter/stop the Plan. And after the first couple Liberation Rites you sort of just go through the motions until it decides to stop.

Why did you regret it? He was my first too, and made perfect sense. No better man to lead on the other side.

i think he was the best first choice from the info available, but having him stress about not fulfilling his promise was a real mood-killer

not to mention i never got around to learning his backstory

Someone uploaded an extended OST containing dynamic tracks that only get played in certain situations:

...

...

Bae and I regretted it.

That Jojo guy looks like Tariq a bit.

They did warn you that it couldn't possibly be right, should have had chosen Gae.

>Who did you liberate first?
Ti'zo
I kind of regret because I cant use his little warp trick anymore

the entire game is a wallpaper generator

He's best boy and you miss out on getting to know him, he is the best choice to go up first though

...

I did choose Gae for her.

...

>everyone in the caravan thinks something horrible is on the island
>it's just a bunch of rowdy imps who built a proper stadium

>the imps start invading the pitch
>imps are british soccer hooligans

Did anyone try to keep Hedwyn and Co. with you until the end so all four of you were stuck in the Downside? I wonder if there's any unique dialogue

...

I chose Rukey first because I wanted to make certain the first three went up (didn't know how many I'd get to pick) and he was the most boring of the three so I didn't care if he was gone.

I need to replay this just to get some 4k wallpapers.

>when the Voice loses his shit because the imps dive into the game

did anyone catch that line where i think the reader and hedywn talk about how this all feels familiar like they've done it before? i thought that was strange

I think I saw that line once.

I had that happen during my first playthrough, but not my second.

Before the reveal of the Voice's identity I expected time travel shenanigans where the Reader becomes the Voice at the end.

well...technically that happened, but with the previous Reader

I mean, a titan WAS born there. Even if it was short-lived, that's gotta involve some bad juju.

Anybody replaying Bastion or Transistor after this game?

I want jodi to sit on my face

What was yours?

I replayed Bastion before release to get in mood. Sadly, my backlog is killing me, so no time for Transistor

That fucking imp, I swear

;___;

...

This.

Ya'll suck donkey dick
Mere distance cannot separate our spirits

That's the motto of a loser who tries to reassure either himself or those who are going to be left behind that everything is fine.

Better than that weak ass shit.

Literally the training montage of mottos.

Volfred, Bertrude, and Fae

I kind of wanted Volfred to be able to see the end result of the revolution, but overall they seemed like the three who were the least invested in returning to the surface themselves.

Fae in particular seems to not care much either way.

>Fae
That's the absolute best name for her.

A thought I had while listening to the soundtrack: the game uses English as the language spoken by Readers, with the Voice and Volfred communicating to you in English when they speak into your mind and the Book of Rites itself being written in English.

Everything else in the game is spoken in their fictional language, when we hear spoken lines. The other exception to this is when Tariq and Celeste sing - do you guys think in-game they're singing in a language that only the Reader and Volfred are understanding the words to, or is the translation something that you assume is for the benefit of the player and they're "canonically" singing in the game's fictional spoken language?

It wouldn't make much sense for me if Tariq started singing that song on the boat if the rest of the crew couldn't understand it

Props to Volfred for being a character who fucking SCREAMS "betrays you at the end" and "secret secondary agenda" in both writing and design, but actually ends up being completely legit to the end.

I thought Volfred might betray you before you actually met him. Pamitha remains suspicious as fuck until the end though

Eh, she states it blunt that its relationship between her and her sister before you, despite that she leaves them to join you.

I think the devs tweeted that this is true, Tariq and Celeste sing in a foreign language to the exiles.

Why don't they just start a new civilization in the Downside?

Same reason there are no civilizations in hell.

It pours rain and snow for over half the year

Put her up against her sister in a liberation rite. She shows her true colors.

that doesn't seem like it's too difficult, especially since the Union now doesn't send people to the Downside as punishment anymore. Send supplies over the waterfall. I would have liked to see the Union supporting life in the Downside in the epilogue, and not just ignoring it.

Don't know if it's one user or many, but thanks for posting all the screenshots in this thread. I've gotten so many new good wallpapers from this game

So is this game an RPG like Final Fantasy or an RPG like Fallout?

Neither.

There's mentions about lack of edible food (most stuff is poisonous) and not being able to grow crops.

It's sort of more like a VN mixed with a light basketball or soccer simulator kind of

It's a visual novel with a blitzball minigame.

What is the ideal remaining team?

I honestly can't believe how long it took me to notice the minstrel and Celeste standing on the sides of this screen.

Bertrude, Pamitha and Volfred, but only if you make Oralech stay too.

Doesn't pamitha convince the harps to not attack the new commonwealth?

Hedwyn's waifu can do that too.

nah, that is taken care of by Hedwyn and his harpie waifu

Huh, but I'd hate to separate Rukey and Pamitha.

Post yfw you got into the blackwagon, noticed someone else there and suddenly this started playing

youtube.com/watch?v=C37PAE0CzTg

>Rukey and Pamitha.

wait what, those two had synergy?

I only knew of the friendship between Rukey and Sir Gilman

rukey and pamitha become drinking buddies at the end if they're together

Hey dude fuck you, I'll read the book and talk to Sandra first.
>there are far more important matters to attend to right now

...

...

I really wanted Sandra to rip him a new one

Slick; caught me out

Let's hear it then, I've got no intention of being intimidated. You can dunk me, but you can't dunk my spirit.

I got dunked hard: Lost the last rite 0-15. Orlech offered me a spot; I refused. He was the victor,
and if anyone was going home, it was my Pamitha.

I had to keep going until they were all free.

>About to fight the Pyrehearts, easy, activate at least five titan stars
>Nope, it's Oralech

>match where the enemy team doesn't show up
>activate all titan stars
>get the achievement

You fucked up.

This is the only correct choice

oh shit, can you imagine?

>you get into the cart
>noone is there
>"The Beyonder Crystal seeks Oralech"

Yeah can you imagine trial as him? Get banished and wait half a minute.

Never before has a game made me feel good about losing to the final boss. Props to Supergiant for being able to pull of writing this tight.

I obliterated him on my first playthrough and was cackling when he killed himself, but yeah, losing to him is better.

getting banished in any trial usually means you get dunked anyway

i did that too
wish the voice had some special response for that particular happenstance, the "ALL TWELVE?" response that he threw out seemed comically out of place in the morose atmosphere

OK Sup Forums let's get down to it.

There are seven (7) tickets out of the Downside. For your ideal ending, which 7 characters (not limited to the Nightwings) get to go home?

Manley, Manley , Manley , Manley , Manley , Manley , Manley

Hedwyn was a trustworthy, had someone he wanted to get back to, and was the only one who's backstory I knew at that point. Seemed like a solid first choice.

Ended up leaving Ti'zo, Bertrude, and Sir Gilman on my first run. All of which seemed reasonably happy about how things turned out.

Would totally have sent Oralech up if he agreed with Volfred's plan, but he didn't seem willing to compromise.

...

...

Howlers, constant storms destroying would-be settlements, lack of food, etc.

I kind of wish we had a moment in the story where we were running low on supplies to emphasize the harshness of the situation though. I imagine that our group was better equipped to scavenge for food and the like than most, but it felt like survival was going just fine as long as you had a fancy flying wagon.

She wishes deep down that her sister would win to assuage her own guilt, but she never sabotages you or goes out of her way to lose.

Yep. She won't make herself a traitor twice over.

Does anyone have the Nightwing logo on a clear background?
I need it for reasons of: it looks cool.

What's their logo? I can look for it.
