What makes good villain?

What makes good villain?

Them being a better Hero than you.

The ability to control Juubi Jinchuuriki Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and Rinnegan doujutsus (with the rikodou abilities and being capable of both Amateratsu and Tsukuyomi genjutsu), equipped with his Gunbai, a perfect Susano’o, control of the juubi and Gedou Mazou, with Hashirama Senju’s DNA implanted in him so he has mokuton kekkei genkai and can perform yin yang release ninjutsu while being an expert in kenjutsu and taijutsu.

Being relatable. Whether that means being able to empathize with whatever reason they had to become a villain or you agree with what they're doing and think it's right, either are qualities of a good villain. The worst villains are always the ones that either make no sense or have a completely absurd justification for their villainy, if they have any justification at all.

Relatable goals
I have no idea what you just wrote

I fucking hate the nu-Sup Forums meme (Or I should say neo-Sup Forums meme, since it's actually relatively old now) that what makes a good villain is motivation. Nigger, it doesn't fucking matter if the motivation is something as simple as "I'm evil, muahahahah". All that matters is the god damn EXECUTION.

Pic related. God tier villain that would be considered shit on Sup Forums because he isn't deep enough. Variety is the spice of life, you fags.

How new?

One that is relatable in a twisted way. Doing the right thing the wrong way, or trying to right his own wrongs the wrong way.

Although I also like BIG BAD EVIL GUY that's evil for the sake of being evil. Only sometimes though.

New enough not to watch anime I guess

When the villain uses arguments that are reasonable and hard to find any flaw. Arguments that make heros don't refrute and just fight him because he is the "villain".
