Nioh is a very fun game.
Nioh is a very fun game
i really liked the pre release tests. maybe I should look for a used copy at book off
Which is better, Axe or Odachi? I'm doing a strength playthrough, so I might as well use both. Are they too different to compare, or does Odachi make obsolete the Axe?
Odachi is better in general but Axe has better meme builds
Trying to get certain amor sets is a chore, though. Especially when everyone uses the same fucking set, so revenants are all donned in the same gear.
I can't be arsed to go through an entire long ass mission to fight the end boss for a
Loved Nioh way more than any Souls game. Way better combat and much better pacing. Only thing I don't like is how op some things are like shuriken builds and confusion.
>lowest tier enemies take 4-5 hits to kill
>most enemies in a single encounter is like 4 or 5 max, when an equivalent DS encounter would be 12+
nah
Odachi is just a faster axe.
>most enemies in a single encounter is like 4 or 5 max
The alpha demo was elder god tier, better than almost all the souls games. They made it way to simple, you can steam-roll the game with no trouble what so ever. Get it for sub-20 and you're good
why doesnt japanese geralt just use silver sword to defeat the youkais???
>Samurai from The Dark lands
>Armor called obsidian set
>Weapons he uses reference shadows and black
>His mask comes off
>Dude's black
He looks like fucking MC Ride, too
sweet, thanks, I'll try to find it at that price. I really love diablo and dark souls. this seemed like the perfect mix. also it's weeb af, which is a huge plus for me
Sloth is still fucking broken, it seems. I've yet to do an Omoyo build yet, though.
It keeps things slowed a lot less in Way of the Demon and Wise but it still lasts quite a while.
I beat some shit I never should have by abusing sloth/confusion with Saoirse. It's legitimately too fucking strong.
...
They didn't release it on PC so Im not really interested, if they end up porting it then i'll be interested and play the game. Until then goodluck.
Actual historical figure too, albeit he was more of a pet to daddy Nobunaga.
Either are great if you find one with good stats. But if you find a good Axe and get the right build, Lumber Chop destroys pretty much everything. Odachi has some strong moves but nothing as broken as Lumber Chop.
What's the name of the move in the skill tree? Is it that big one handed axe slam that makes a shockwave?
>you can steam-roll the game with no trouble what so ever.
So you never played way of the strong or any of the other modes right? Way of the strong is literally the alpha minus the stupid weapon degradation.
Lumber Chop is the charging move that looks like a bat swing. If you fully charge it the move can do absurd damage, possibly one shotting most bosses.
went bonkers from there with living weapon, it was awesome
Oh it's literally called Lumber Chop. It's not as broken as Iai Quickdraw is it?
Damn I kinda stopped after the giant sea blob level, how many dlcs have there been and how many are left? I'm just planning on waiting for all of them to come out before I decide to restart my game
When in DS do you ever run into more than like 2 enemies at a time?
where the FUCK do I find it at that price?
>rushed through wots and now at hundred eyes undergeared
gimme dem 160s
>Repetitive as fuck
>Bloated and artificially difficult enemies
>Broken hitboxes
>PS2-tier graphics
>The same 4 enemies the entire game
>underwhelming and unmemorable boss fights
>Magic is overpowered as fuck and makes the game trivial
I hated it, it was garbage
...
Sure, on what is essentially NG+ and the twillight missions the game is harder, but the base game is easy as all hell. I wanted the whole game to be twilllight missions or be at that level, but as it was when it played you started on easy mode and had to actively go out of your way to find the good difficulty that was present in the Alpha
>>Bloated and artificially difficult enemies
t. never got past umi bozo
Just off the top of my head, the bonfire area in undead burg is 7 dudes, and the 2nd bonfire in dukes is like 12
i finished the game, umi bozo was easy.
I prefer it to the Souls games
