This should have been in the game to begin with, and the way they handled the launch, their radio silence and lack of content and updates still does not make up for it.

With that said, I might pick it up down the road when it is cheap as fuck and we see what they add, but for now, meh.

Too little too late. This shit should've been in the release version and, you know, not just tell lies about it.

You get to walk around with other players represented as orbs in your game. Trailer doesn't show whether they can build bases with you, use equipment with you or even have their own ships on planet. I doubt any of that will happen.

What do you mean "without actually properly saying it". I mean yeah Sean consistently worded it in a way that made it obvious he knew it was bullshit when he said it. You could tell he did not feel particularly confident about being able to deliver. That doesn't mean he "didn't properly say it". Just because he's so bad at lying you know he's lying. Doesn't mean he "didn't say it".

And I mean what the fuck was up with the whole "it's going to be very rare" thing. What IS that. Was he assuming people just couldn't check whether or not they implemented a multiplayer? And like that everyone was just going to take his word and not question that nobody ever actually experienced it? He lied, flat out, end of story.

Hey, I'm a day one buyer of this shit. It sucked at launch. It was an early access game paraded as feature complete. But so far they've stuck to the update plan they laid out and have added/fixed a ton of things. The updates have always introduced a few features at a time and built/fixed things into the base, so I can see when 1.5 and 1.6 eventually pop out the multiplayer function being complete.

Yeah, waiting years for these things suck, but at least the game is still receiving support instead of 90% of steam EA games which die on the grapevine.

Very true. I don't mind at all having to buy an early access game in all but label and name at full price then having to wait a year for basic promised functionalities to appear either. I love having to play the guessing game when purchasing fully priced games, hoping that the devs didn't lie about the game and the features it has and that they will continue updating it.

I don't really give a shit about multiplayer so the new story mode looks pretty interesting. will wait for 2/3 more updates though just to give them time to add more mechanics/ fix bugs. then I'll buy it on sale. Don't want to pay more than $40 though
