Anyone has some general tips? What do I do against hammerfall? I feel like I get hit by that whenever I try to poke.

You can yrc after hitting pot out of hammer fall. Also use multihitting normals/moves if your character can. Otherwise its standard grappler matchup. Play lame and don't let him get in. Don't frametrap him too much.

how big of a deal is Arc Revo?

Don't poke pot unless you have meter. Playing against Pot is actually different from playing typical big grappler in SF games. You don't spam projectiles and normal poke all day and keep him out because of the threat of hammerfall and flick. You want to weave in and out of his hammerfall range and bait him to hammerfall or slide head. If he slide head, you get a free airdash in for pressure. If he goes full hammerfall without RC, it's free punish. If you throw a projectile, it better be a fast one and be unpredictable so he can't flick on reaction. When pressure pot, go for rapid small hit pressure and if you are in mid/long range part of the pressure, get ready to YRC because a lot of pot will hammerfall that part of the pressure to get in.

What is the deal with FT1 even for grand final for arc revo. That kinda turns me off the event altogether. Will it be like that this year?
