If the monitors that gamers actually use (as in, 144hz panels that inherently are extremely low latency) had component/composite/s-video inputs that'd be ideal, but nobody makes anything of the sort.

Converting s-video/component to HDMI without a signal processor is always a bad idea.
If you don't care too much buy a cheap 720p LCD monitor, 20 dollar S-video/Component to HDMI and be happy.
who said anything about HDMI? I meant native ports on the back of the display like they have DVI and DP now.
my senpai still have this big ass crt that took 4 Samoans to move and they still struggled with it. the worst part is i want that tv now lol.

Salvation Army stores still accept and sell CRTs. I bought a nice 14 incher with s-video and component for $20.
i still have my bigass flat Panasonic Quintrix 60hz CRT from 2000 and works flawlessly

I got lucky and found mine near a recycle dumpster. Had the remote and was pretty clean.
I don't understand what your talking about but I'm sure it's a problem with playing old video games on new tv I mean I watch old movies or play old games that look fine on old tv but now on the LCd screen it looks shit you can see the pixels now it's like its been stretched out somehow anyway can you guys explain to to the noob here how do I fix that
