So, I bought $10k gaming pc for this?

So, I bought $10k gaming pc for this?
I swear this will be the last time I listened Sup Forums

>buying instead of building

I know you're being a cheeky cunt, but I'm on the same boat.
I bought a $2.5k PC to be able to play all the AAA stuff at whatever resolution you have now, but... well, I just played 10, 15 titles. I feel burned out. I turned it into an emulation machine. $2.5k for a bunch of emulators.

>bought a PC
>bought
There's your problem.

I hope I'm not in the same boat. I have a shit ton of games that I can't run well on my PC, and I'm hoping that building a new one will give me tons of games to play.

I'll be able to emulate the PS2 and Gamecube now, at least.

If you're only planning on playing at 1080p I wouldn't advise going over $1000 on your budget

Everyone knows PC is the best option overall.
Everyone knows that.
99.9% of the consoleposting you see on Sup Forums is bait. Most people have all of the wojack edits saved depending on what flavour of bait they want to post.

Nobody ironically believes that you're better off just buying a XB1 and nowt else as opposed to a good PC.

Reasonable bait, OP.

Doing that. Unfortunately, under 1k (around $700 usd) in parts is over 1.5k in parts in New Zealand. Feelsbadman

>used to be one of the tallest guys in the first years of highschool
>by senior year there were plenty of people taller than me
this is the nature of pc gaming. i could upgrade to a gtx 1080 sli build but i know that in few years there will be mid end rigs that beat that in benchmarks. so i stick to my gtx 770
also captcha gave the name of the girl i wanted to bone so hard in highschool wtf

>fell for the gaming laptop meme
>it's actually pretty great

I have a fat steam wojak saved for this occasion

>you can now get a laptop with a gtx 1080 and an i7
>it's not bulky at all

How do these things not just melt?

Throttling and shitty performance in general.

>it was great when we went to the school down the road where they cut everyone's legs at the knees so we're all the same height.

DOOM and Rocket League are pretty fun, but you don't need good graphics with Rocket League and I run DOOM at near ultra settings on a 1050ti/R5 1600 ($350 combo) at 60 stable so I'm not sure why you spent $10k unless you're retarded.

>get a 2k pc
>10 years later budget rigs are better than it

>buys a high end pc
>not purchasing witcher 3 or escape from tarkov

>$2.5k PC
Sure

Stop falseflagging you consoletard
I built a 1200$ pc and im playing everyting on ultra.

>hit not interested on the store page, never see game again
>letting shit you don't like through your filters

Doom and Warhams are great, you're a fucking faggot.

>dude buys a gaming laptop
>lan, hes making fun of me bringing a large box PC when he has a light laptop
>one hour in playing with everyone his gaming laptop overheats and shuts down

You bought it for PC exclusives like Total war
Good job OP

Welcome to having a choice in what genre of game you buy instead of a million and one shooters, sports games, and action-adventure with RPG and stealth elements. I recommend Papers, Please, but that game might break your brain.

>paying over 700 for a video card that will be obsolete in a couple of years and then do it all over again
pc gamers are truly consumerist cancer

Spent nearly 500 on a gtx 780 and I'm still using it. Might upgrade next year along with my monitor. Some games I can still run maxed or at high. Thing is, I can always sell the 780 to alleviate the price of whatever card I choose. I did the same with my cpu and broke even. Was using a $130 Fx 8320 for 3 years and sold it for 130 again lol.

>Black Desert
>Doom

I bought a 1000$ PC for them.
Turns out Doom is average and BD has chink spyware.

>Several exclusives requiring a high-end PC

>Looks at PS4 top sellers list
>All multiplats, console shooter multiplats, inferior multiplats, and dudebro multiplats
>I even "get" to pay extra to play them online
>Sony actually moneyhatted devs to keep games off every other system, and this is the shit people play

This is for the p-players...

>paying $2k on a cpu
Should've bought a ryzen. At least you could get 2 entire pcs that way and stream without lag whatsoever and recoup your losses.

literally a $300 pc can run both games just fine
