NiOh has level very similar to this. You go down a small elevator inside a shrine, and you happen across many statues that are living forms or just regular statues. It's semi-maze like as well.

Here in Australia, there is very little in the way of abanoned shit or big cultural works because Australia is only a 120 years old and land in populated areas is premium so abandoned shit quickly gets redeveloped.
