How does it feel to have a family?

tiresome

This desu.

Huge obligation.

who the fuck is the guy on the far left supposed to be

Not as good as it sounds

Where's uncle Venom?

im fed up with my family. cant wait to move out after finishing university and finding decent job (eurofag here, so its a bit different). would be nice to have some gf to live with, but damn, my social life is almost non existent apart form maybe 3-4 friends i meet occasionally.

Obviously Solidus

Who's the most dysfunctional vidya family - the Snakes or the Mishimas?

>no Gaseous Snake

>that GITS reference

>tfw no strong protective father that makes you feel safe

pretty alright until you're in your 20s and since you're also the firstborn of your entire family, all the eyes are locked on you forever

The sneks

Don't worry. When you reach your late 20s and it's clear you're a failure, they just start to pretend you don't exist.

This

I love living alone, even visiting I get sick of them in a few days

thank god

He doesn't look anything like Solidus

...

That's Mr.President to you

Jesus user, i just wanted to make a wholesome Metal Gear thread, not to make me reflect on my own life

I need help man

He looks like big boss on the far right
Y'know, the person he's the EXACT copy of

(ageing is a thing, duh)

The Mishimas only get along in someone else nightmares.

Solidus was aged though

Does anyone really like Twins snakes as much as the original mgs? or am I alone in that regard?

I wonder when the FE fags will come to shit up the thread with their non-canon pairings

Gamecube, right? Does it emulates well?

No problems on Dolphin from what I've seen. Beaten about 4 times

Yeah he was old and gray straight from the womb

You fucking idiot

oh man i had to go deep into my old /mgg/ folder for this one

W-whats wrong with it? I thought it was a fun slight retelling of the original story
The new actions scenes were cool to watch

Yeah because the left image is him right out of his fucking "mom" right?
Idiot
im not even the same user im just bored

...

Watch them again, today, when youre not 12 anymore.

I like to think that TTS is how Otacon retold the story of the Shadow Moses Incident for Sunny

What happened right after the twins were born? Where they taken from her or what?

And their papa

I finished again just last month, and I still like it
I don't understand what's inherently with it

...

Burnt alive.

>YFW Orika is dead
Save your tears for the day when the pain is far behind. On your feet. Follow me. We are soldiers, stand or die.

There is no cannon explanation. Same with alot of things
>Why did ocelot choose to help Eli aka liquid at the end of MGSV
>Why did big boss go against his own motivations and help destroy the ai in MGSIV

Origa

Died age 44 from cancer

...

People get upset because it takes many of the action scenes and makes them over the top, with Snake doing crazy flips and shit all the time.

I like them a lot. The missle jump and snake fucking going head to head with Rex were awesome

...

>no Xenogears

Pretty good desu

I'm in the same boat as you. TTS was my foray into the series so I don't have the rose tinted lenses for the original on PS1. That being said I have appreciation for both since they excel in their own ways.

Having considered the two, a popular comparison I've heard is very similar to watching the original uncut version of the sequels to star wars (in this case MGS) while TTS would be the new 'special edition' which many fans argued injected superfluous elements.

The most common complaints are:
>Shadow moses base looks too sterile and less industrialized than the original
>A majority of the voice acting doesn't carry the same tone of delivery as the original
>over the top action in the cutscenes

A lot of these can simply be chalked up to preference, but one objective piece of criticism I agree with is the MGS2 mechanic of switching to first person. Which does in fact render the strategy of dealing with certain bosses laughably easy.

In the end though I enjoy both and each do certain things well.

Where is Venom
