I have one, I skipped Wii U and figured I'd use it to play BOTW, MK8, Fast RMX, and Splatoon while I wait for Mario and the new Fire Emblems/inevitable return of the VC.

And that's not even counting used consoles and sales. I got my PS4 for $170, and it came with a controller. Half the games I got for free thanks to account sharing. That's nearly half the price of a Switch, and I got way more value out of it.

Nintendo games are not what they used to be, and there's no good third party support.

it's a bit too expensive here. around 400$. there's nothing interesting for me on switch. it's generally good idea to wait 1-2 years before buying console.

First of all, PS4 Slim costs $300, not $250, and it only comes with one controller, not two. Secondly, the Switch has absolutely zero necessary peripherals. The only thing in your post that's true is that PS4 can be bought with one game included, and Switch can't.

Sony usually comes out with a new console the next year after a new nintendo console is released. The colossal failure of the ps4 pro has shown them that some half gen upgrade shit isn't going to work, so they know they have to move to a new gen if they want to be competitive.

I own a Switch, It was actually the first console I bought day one, and now I know why I don't usually bother. BoTW was better than SS but I can't even bring myself to finish it due to the sheer amount of tedium, and there's barely been any other games released for it worth a damn. Hell my most played game is Tetris and that's available for the PS4.

To anyone curious, always wait a few years.
