KOTOR or KOTOR II, which is the superior game?
This is why aliens are a bad thing. They come onto our boards and take up our bandwidth with their useless gibili gook language that nobody understands all the while trying to steal our woman and jobs. Ban alien threads, report potential aliens and most of all do not attempt to communicate with them.
2.
The variety of builds, making skills more useful and incentives to do more than just go straight for max light/dark immediately more than makes up for the unfinished story.
Granted, it comes at the cost of being incredibly easy to make a ridiculously broken character.
*padonos your bakona*
Kotor 1 is like the perfect B movie, the performances are JUST bad enough and the writing is JUST cliche enough for everything to come together into a good time
Kotor 2 has some fantastic ideas and some of the best writing to date in video games, but suffers from some really glaring flaws like a boring mouthpiece MC and the hilarious concept of a good/bad morality system given the entire concept of the game's narrative which was obviously not part of the dev team's choice,
I'm sure some suit sat around in a board room going 'b-but it's a star wars rpg, we HAVE to have a jedi/sith spectrum' but it still really does hold the game back
One
mokko chack plack
>tier 3 power attack
>hit fucking hard but less accurate
>tier 3 critical hit
>high chance of crit and stun but leave yourself open
>tier 3 flurry
>add two additional hits, and thats it
Check out these moves.
The true style is running around her in circles you pleb
Man, who thought those outfits were in any way acceptable
More like
>Power attack
>Jump into the air and do a flip for every. fucking. attack.
>Critical strike
>Block invisible attacks before sweeping the leg and making cobra kai proud
>Flurry
>swing your weapon like a fucking retard who has never handled a sword before
God those animations were horrible. What's sad is that the default attack animations were excellent once you got master dueling or master two weapon fighting. I usually just say fuck it and ignore the active attack feats because of this. The game's easy enough as it is anyway.
Flurry is the most fucking overpowered, because DW is the most fucking overpowered. That's 6 hits faggot, 6 fucking hits. Are you gonna crit harder?
Mathematically flurry is the worst for dual wielding. Going from 5 hits to 6 is negligible compared to massively buffing the damage of all 5 hits.

Nihilus did nothing wrong

Kotor 2.
Although it's not really a fair comparison since Bioware did all the heavy lifting (ie made the whole game) and Obsidian just took that but added their own writing.
So, am I the only one who realizes that KOTOR 1 and Mass Effect have essentially the same story? Just without the Jedi stuff?
I mean, ancient race (Protheans in ME and Rakata in KOTOR) conquered the universe but was then wiped out by it's own technology and no one knows why.
And then it turns out that some are still alive.
I mean, I can't be the only one who sees the similairities, right? And yes, I know both were made by Bioware.
oh yeah, and
>what items may be crafted is based on skill
>skill increased by stats
>t3 is a droid and has naturally high intelligence
>can create items with any character if you use a workbench thats not on the ebon hawk
>repair influenced by int
>repair basis for most upgrade items
>have already poured tons of points into repair on him cause there not that much else to spend it on
>ultra decked out hyper op weapons before you've even left your first post-telos planet
Nihlus wasn't really capable of understanding right and wrong.
He was just a beast of the force, and a brilliant satire of the Sith donut steeles that were inundating Star Wars at the time.
In an impressive bit of Bioware incompetence, he was also a brilliant satire of their TORtanic villain
a bit.
>>ultra decked out hyper op weapons before you've even left your first post-telos planet
Can you please put a bit more effort in, next time?
The component cost of the high tier weapons was prohibitive for this reason, and they were hardly OP.
Just break down a bunch of those fully costumizable armors youre probably not gonna use anyway cause they block jedi powers.
They were also written by the same guy.
Bioware stories have never been too impressive. It's just your typical genre fiction schlock. Their strength lies in world building, characters and clean gameplay.
Now that is a legit problem with 2.
The armours were absolutely fucking useless, because the one character who would ever wear them had an irremovable set.
Posting because the creator is one of us. And it's pretty comfy to listen to.
One of us?
What are we, some kind of secret society?
No, just fags
Ni wunna wunga
>irremovable set
Fuck you Canderous
>running in circles
You mean running in a square, stopping autistically at each corner, and turning with the maneuverability of a tank, before continuing the run
>one of us
We're all part of this subculture of ours, so I guess it's normal for some people to develop a connectedness to fellow anons.
2 however...
1 is one of the best Star Wars stories ever told
2 is the best story told within Star Wars
What the fuck is that supposed to mean?
You are nowhere near the first person to notice, you can also add Dragon Age for having the same plot
>saliva swirling autism voice
