DIMPS hasn't been good for Sonic for a long time. It's debatable if it ever was.

Nothing wrong with that.

What would a Sonic Advance sequel even entail? They were good Sonic games but the GBA is a dead system, and none of the Advance games were wildly similar to each other outside of being Sonic platformers.
Why not just ask for another modern 2D Sonic?

There you go famalam. Enjoy.

No it isn't. Only the retarded minority asking for more unnecessary fluff characters and tasteless Rushfags want Advance 4.

I would but I don't want Boost. SEGA seems to think that either a game needs to be just like the Classics or needs the Boost.

Just give Modern Sonic the boost, give him back the instashield, and either set the homing attack to a different button or don't give it at all.

Not even remotely similar.
Rush still has a place in my heart though, but I do question its objective quality.

That series is probably a more positive example of style over substance.

Why is Rush more fun to play than Modern Sonic?

I mean modern Sonic is heavily 2D and relies heavily on keeping your boost meter filled.

It is a balance of modern and classic gameplay, so it can appeal to everyone.

>It has personality rather than the bland Saturday morning cartoon Sonic has become.
>Music is top tier
>Levels are far more expansive and the player has freedom to go where he or she wants rather than being locked to a path
>Made great use of screen space.

Give me a port for PC and Android.

It would be a Sonic Mania without being propped up by the nostalgia. I think that's a good direction to go in the future.

The boost itself isn't an issue, it worked well in Rush.

>hit a bouncy
what

>just got mania today
>mfw mean bean machine for boss battle in chemical plant zone

What's this?

The state of modern vidya players.

Is this why people hate Sonic games? Sonic Mania is more forgiving than most of the games in the series.

I would take a Sonic Advance Mania.
Level design is the only thing holding these games back.

Having a trick button and a button to fling yourself makes auto sections more fun.

Sanic 4 was already this.

Nah nah, this is the underrated gem that I want to be remade in a Mania-esque style.

I wanted Sonic Generations for 3DS and PSVita to be Sonic Portable Generations which would be like best 3 levels of Sonic Advance Trilogy and Sonic Rush duology and whatever the hell there else there is.

They also could've referenced Tails's mini-series and Sonic Battel with challenges.
(like having Emerl in one of them)

Not really

It was not.

One makes you do tricks for boost the other gives you boost for just being there

I just want Advance with expanded FOV.

Actually, collecting rings and doing tricks gives you boost, it doesn't automatically replenish you nimrod. In Sonic Generations there is specifically an equipable skill that's entire purpose is to auto-replenish boost.

At least don't pretend you know something about anything without knowing anything.

The only good parts of this game are the music and Blaze. Dimps doesn't know how to make a good video game.

Sonic Advance Revamped check it out

Thanks, I'll take a look.

Oh, that would be cool. Even better if they drop the post-Adventure characters and bring back the Sonic The Fighters roster adding Eggrobo, Ray, Mighty, Vector and Charmy. Make it a cross between Battle & The Fighters.

Correct
