Redlines are when artist A draws over a drawing by artist B so that artist B can see what they did wrong. It doesn't refer to "I drew a sketch, now I'm going to draw over it"
So you'll see an artist post a drawing and ask someone to redline it, that means they're looking for someone better than them to show them what mistakes they made by drawing over it. Which was what happened in that image I posted.
