FLIPENDO!
FLIPENDO!
FLIIIIPENDOOO
So many different consoles each with their own content
The only ones which are actually the same game are the PS1 and the PS2 versions, right?
But all had "flipendo", which appears nowhere in the books.
I wonder if Rowling gave that input herself.
Why the fuck would all games on all platforms always have "flipendo"?
Nope. Both completely different.
Only the PS2 / GC / XboxFAT games were the same. Same story for Philosophers Stone.
Oh shit, no. Five different games, seven platforms, the same one across PS2, Gamecube and Xbox.
Never got all the Wizard Cards in the PC version. Should I replay it? Are the challenges worth it?
No, they are all different games. Same with Sorcerer's Stone.
I wish you could emulate this shit.
This was a thing.
It's really comfy discovering new areas in challenges you've already beateb half a dozen times. Definitely follow a guide.
I had the GBA version, I always taught he was saying "et-hendor"
All of those systems aside form the ps2 have pretty good emulation and one can run natively on windows.
Not that guy but the PS1 game crashes during the intro when I try to play it on my PSP.
The gamecube emulator barely runs it, OXBOX has no emulator as far as i know and the PS2 emulator doesn't work because of the game's anti-piracy.
I don't have windows 10 so I can't use dolphin's DX12 mode though.
>cool licensed games like these will never be released digitally
EA pls
...
Threadly reminder about the single greatest sports videogame ever created.
...
They can't even be assed to finish the new star wars games, they aren't gonna release an ancient game like this.
>No other games about quidditch have been made
>no gamecube version
so close to perfection user
I miss it Sup Forums.
HP was a big part of my life when it was an ongoing thing. Discussion of new books, excitement for the movies, all that community that is now dead and broken because JK Refuses to just let it be and keeps changing history.
PS2 port of CoS is (Arguably) best because you can get on and off the Broomstick anywhere in the grounds instead of predetermined stations.
PC version was objectively the best. I had games from the first three films, although I did not enjoy the third game as much as the first two.
Flipendo was in the books
comfy desu
Shit game, amazing fap material.
All dat innuendo and trampyness.
I had the GBA one. Fairly unremarkable, but some of the sound effects are still in my head
I know what you mean dude, it had such a wonderful aesthetic and she's destroying everything good about it.
And we wont ever get another proper game because she sees no value in videogames. Only agreed to them as movie tie ins.
>JK Refuses to just let it be and keeps changing history.
what has she done
Harry Potter games are somewhat convoluted, since every console has its own incarnation of each title. If I'm not mistaken Chamber of Secrets was a totally different game on GC than on PS2 (let alone PS1). Same thing for Xbox. And PC releases were always different until maybe 4 or 5.
Hermione was never canonically white.
Dumbledore as always gay.
Voldemort had a daughter with Bellatrix and she did dimensional fuckery yo.
What did it do?
PS1 games are among the worst, but I'd have loved to see Harry Potter 3 on PS1
Posted some dumb "interesting facts" about the universe on Pottermore, tweets SJW stuff and made Hermione black in the Cursed Child play. Nothing you can't ignore really, the worst thing to me is allowing the published Cursed Child script to be labeled as "the eight story." That thing was just shit after the first part, regardless of any character's skin colour in the play.
It WAS being developed, there were screens somewhere. Of course it was canned.
>UMD video
That can't possibly be real.
Wasn't she writing the eight canonical story, with Potter as an adult? I don't know much about HP, since I stopped after 5 and only read them when I was a child.
It is.
I own it.
Books were pretty fun but the movies were complete shit. I've never understood what people see in them. They're fucking unbearable.
Is the PSP region-free?
I know it sounds retarded but I kind of want to get this, I'm always intrigued by UMD movies.
I don't think so. Already did my search a few months ago and found nothing. It was probably planned, but I don't think there are screenshots available.
Fun fact: the team that made Ultima Online was going to make a Harry Potter MMO but it was cancelled when EA shut down Origin Systems.
Another fun fact: The person who was the main deciding factor in the death of Origin was Don Mattrick, the same guy who was pushing the always online shit for the Xbone and is currently at Zynga.
I thought they gave up on UMD in like 2008. How on earth was it still profitable in 2011?
Stuff like this, that makes it clear she has nobody proof reading it, and doesn't think it through at all
how come no one talks about this gem? The third game on gba was possibly my favorite harry potter game because it was a turn based RPG. Also the third one on gamecube was the best open world one i can remember.
I really hate that man.
>Hermione was never canonically white.
That was just dumb virtue signalling, I just laughed at it and couldn't get mad.
>Dumbledore as always gay.
Who really cares about that one, has no impact on the story.
>Voldemort had a daughter with Bellatrix and she did dimensional fuckery yo.
This is the most retarded thing, though.
No idea if there were plans for a proper 8th book. Some fags made a play called The Cursed Child with her approval which follows Harry as an adult and one of his sons, the script of which was later published.
Agree 100%. New better movies when? A series could work too.
>That was just dumb virtue signalling, I just laughed at it and couldn't get mad.
What made it hilarious to me is that English theatre ALWAYS race lifts people; alongside gender bending it's been a tradition for half a fucking millennia.
She could have defused the situation and made it just the stormfags reeeing by simply pointing this out, rather than stoking the fire by making objectively wrong "clarifications"
They're a niche collectable, mostly dirt cheap but some are worth a bunch now.
Philospher's Stone on GBC was the only one I played but it was a legitimately decent jrpg-style game following the book closely. One of the few non-pokemon games worth a shit on the platform.
God, GB(C) library was pretty shit.
If I remember right he's also actually a somewhat brilliant programmer and was behind the old Test Drive games for DOS. Weird how things turn out sometimes.
It had the whole original game boy library which was great and it had some good stuff of its own, Shantae, Wario Land, Zelda Oracle games, I've had worse consoles.
Luna best girl forever and always,
had this on xbox since my sister was a massive HP fan. was way better than i thought it would be
Why was the PS2 version so comfy? Riding around outside on your broomstick, all the spells, the way your robe flowed.
It flipendo'd
It had NES syndrome. There was a handful of good games, many of which were made obsolete by their sequels (i.e. no one would fucking play GB castlevania nowadays) and then a lovecraftian amount of shovelware.
Somebody post the comparison chart, please
N...No!
Pokemon RBYGSC and Zelda LA/OoS/OoA are the only games still worth playing
This one?
seconding this. this game was way more fun than it should've been. goddamn felt like they could release quidditch cup 04, 05, 06 etc. and it would feel natural.
Thanks, now I just need a ranking system. With a PC with dolphin and a 3ds with gba and D's support, which games should I even bother playing?
My uncle works at Flipendo.
Play both GBC games if you like RPGs
There are plenty of great puzzle games on the original game boy. You've also got Seiken Densetsu 1, Donkey Kong '94, SaGa, Kirby, it's not a bad platform.
It has a better library than the PS4 or the Wii U
All versions of first 3 games, skip 4 and 7. 3 is just shit and 7 is a boring shooter. 7.2 is slightly better.
Are they better than the GBA versions? I played those as a kid
I played the first ps1 game. Will play through the first two on PC then, and maybe check out the Dolphim GameCube version
They are JRPGs. Not fucking with you.
>Are they better than the GBA versions? I played those as a kid
They are completely different and play just like JRPGs. Unless you absolutely despise JRPGs I don't see how you could consider the GBA games better for those iterations. The GBA games were pretty ass desu.
The GBC game sare amazing. Proper classical FF style games in the Potterverse.
Why don't devs make different versions of games for different consoles like they did before?
Risk/Reward.
>faeces deleces
Which HP games are worth playing?
Every version of 1-3. 4 on PC. 5-6 On console or PC. Ignore 7.
Quidditch World Cup is good too.
