This is on sale right now on steam. Will I enjoy it? I liked the first one a lot. I enjoyed the second one as well. Third one was neat too though I didn't like it as much as the others, specifically the psychopaths. But I still had fun playing it.
Related, but I never played Off The Record. Does it add anything to the overall story or is it like a spinoff?
Second Question: Are the first and second ones good PC ports? Does the online work well in the second one?

And even 2 wasn't good.

Don't bother with 4. Everything you enjoyed in 1, 2 is gone. 3 can be enjoyable but 4 is both not fun and insulting to the franchise. All around terrible. Yes.
Christian Gray
The original Dead Rising was good because it had a serious plot with the option of doing ridiculously absurd things inbetween.
Dead Rising 4 went full Saints Row 4. It's an absolute mess of gimmicks

I played through both just a few weeks ago. Did not try the online for 2 though.
They're both pretty flawless. Controls are tight. I don't think I dropped below 144 fps for either game on a 970. 2 does has a lack of proper graphics options, but it's whatever.
Kayden Mitchell
I loved 1, mostly loved 2, was ok with 3. 4 is a lot of fun, fuck the haters. It has a decent main story that throws back in parts. It's goofy but in a different way. Lack of a timer is great, again fuck the haters.

post the video with all the differencies between the first and fourth game
i noticed the first dead rising is 9 maple dollars while the second is only 5
also is dead rising 2 worth?
Matthew Bailey
Dead Rising 2 is worth a playthrough for sure and has a lot of replay value although I'd recommend spending extra for the first installment.

2nd game has co-op so tell a friend.

I mean.. the first DR1 was only released on PC in like 2016

NOOOOOOOOO
Carter Cooper
No. It's casualized shit. I'm not using casualized in the typical Sup Forums memey sense. It's seriously been stripped down and a lot of the features have been removed.
They're good, but I don't recall if DR2 still has multiplayer. I thought it was run through Windows Live.
Luis James
People who enjoy video games wouldn't be able to enjoy DR4. It's so badly made, both in terms of polish and general design decisions.
Jace Johnson
I haven't touched 4, but I might give it a pirate one day just to run around in the new mall, while i play vaporwave music in the background.
The game itself is shit though.

anybody else hate when games have a christmas/halloween theme tacked on? i can understand if theres a special event that happens/game takes place on that day. but for a whole fucking game thats tiresome.

Online works but good luck finding randoms, also if you want to use a controller you'll need a third party app

>if you want to use a controller you'll need a third party app
Wait seriously? Even if its a 360 or xbox one controller?
