Episode 1 of Dusk is playable for everybody. It's pretty good so far. What do you guys think?

only if you preordered.
review from gggman was pretty spot on. would have liked to have seen more enemy variations but it was a really solid entry so far
what where? I wanted to play this so bad
is this the game that autismo shill made
mega where
Where is the Mega link so I can shitpost about how bad is the game?
>Episode 1 of Dusk is playable for everybody.
That sounds hilariously nostalgic if its true.
On a scale from 1-10, how shit is it compared to Quake?
is it going to be a disaster like strafe?
Arcane Dimensions is way better than OG Quake. The projectile weapons instead of hitscan weapons is a QoL addon
No. It actually is structured like a classic fps from the 90s. Episodes with 7+ levels + a secret level(10 + 1 secret in this case), no weapon limit, no reloading, no regenerating health, enemies exist int he game world, monster closets, key hunting, secret hunting, Doom-like level design, etc.
>Doom-like level design
In a scale from the worse level of Doom 2 to E4M2 from Ultimate Doom, how bad is it?
>Arcane Dimensions is way better than OG Quake.
The only AD-original maps that are as good as or better than vanilla Quake's are the E2M2 remake and The Forgotten Sepulcher.
>20€
>1/3 of a game
yeah, no
As much as I would like to support a single guy doing a cool pashion project like this, and as much as I like what there is to it so far, it's still unnecessarily expensive at 20€ and another early access jew cashin
If it was 15 bux id buy it.
20 seems steep especially since my friends are trying to get me to buy pubg.
You act like you'll have to pay for the remaining episodes.
He could release two 1-map shit episodes. Not that I think he would, but you're still preordering at 20€
>Doom-like level design
Barren outdoor areas with cramped buildings and no moving platforms seems more Redneck Rampage-like to me.
I only just finished level 3 but I have no real complaints so far. Level 1 was typical for this kind of game, short and easy. Third level was great, though, and the game appears to have minibosses spread throughout the episodes if level 3 is any indicator. Also each level leads into the next, like Duke 3D where you could see part of the previous level in your current level so the game had a sense of consistency.
>E4M2
It's not too bad. Just did it today for the first time.
The first level that required mid level saves though. Would've been easier if I didn't fuck around for too long in E4M1.
if this thread is still alive and you end up finishing the episode, mind throwing your thoughts out?
Never mind I bought it.
