No there isn't. For example, I'm a soulsfag. I preordered DS3 because even if it got bad reviews I'm invested in the series and I would want to play it myself to form my own opinion. And since I already know beforehand that I'll buy it day 1, I can just preorder it now and likely get a discount or something.
