What is your PERFECT video game, Sup Forums?

For me it the original Final Fantasy Tactics. Great story, memorable characters, great gameplay, interesting battle system, lots of different abilities and jobs to customize your soldiers with.

What is pic from?

a very nice anime about nice things

totally doesn't involve mindbreak and death

...

is it time?

botw

Mah mortal.

I love Heretic but Hexen was better.

It involves mindbreak and death, doesn't it?

The only correct answer

Perfection

please source us user

This actually

Timesplitters: Future Perfect

there's so much content its crazy

Ewwww. I just like my stuff vanilla with the occasional bumfuck

>max four weapons at a time
>that level design

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.

WASH AWAY THE ANGER

Hen x Zemi

t-time for what, user?

there's a friendly little arrow next to his post number that will tell you exactly what you want to know

megadimension neptunia

>those tags

you must be a literal retard

DMC3SE. A game I can always pick up. No matter how much I beat it.

I'm on phone

Hexen's level design is top notch, what are you on about? Also 4 unique weapons > 7 Doom copies + the Firemace. And really, who didn't play each class in Hexen at least once? That's 12 weapons, more than most classic fps'. The only thing is that Heretic has the Tomb of Power and Hexen doesn't; definitely a missed opportunity there.

Tome, rather. Thankfully Hexen 2 brought it back.

mindbreak, yes, death, no.

>Hexen's level design is top notch
If you enjoy backtracking through levels you already cleared out looking for a button stashed in a corner somewhere to open the next door so you can do it all over again.
>doom copies
There were several unique weapons. Even the similar ones had their own twist except like the two starting weapons. All of them had alternate firemodes and you were also allowed to carry all of them at once.

This game should not have been good at all, let alone great. The stars decided to align and make the entire experience memorable and fit together perfectly. I'm replaying it right now, and just about every section has a "oh it's THIS part again" experience, for good or terrible.

...

Ay yo sup gurl

Ultimate Doom or Digital Devil Saga 1

Neither of them have any glaring flaws that bother me.

Ran - Sem
Rin - Sen
Rin X Sin + Ran - Sem

You can watch all three series. You're welcome.

Modern men no longer desire big breasts

whats he smiling about?

I have an urge to protect his smile.

Dwarf Fortress. I can only hope that froggy lives long enough to complete it and if he doesn't then his contingency better pan out properly.

*Rin X Sen + Ran - Sem

Those titles are retarded.

>perfect game
No such thing, but few games get close, like gothic 2.
>animated hentai
You guys should start reading hentai manga.

Super Metroid. It's as close to perfection as a game will ever get in my eyes.

I know

Ogre Battle 64

No game will ever come close

>If you enjoy backtracking through levels you already cleared out
Well, yeah, because that's the kind of game Hexen is. Like Metroid. It's not a Doom clone, unlike Hereitc, and has its own identity.

>There were several unique weapons
The Ethereal Crossbow and the Firemace. The others were literally reskinned Doom guns. Alternate fire was limited to a rare powerup and Hexen had alternate fire modes too, except done in a more creative way. For instance using Frost Shards in melee caused a Frost Touch which dealt much more damage than the ranged ice blast but required you to be in melee range for it to trigger.

Faggot alert

Onis are for pure loving

Sauce me before it's deleted

Please

>The others were literally reskinned Doom guns.
Not to mention while being mechanically and functionally identical, they were also statistically worse than their Doom counterparts, like dealing less damage, holding less ammo, or acquiring less ammo on pickups.

>leg locking

use saucenao.com like any sane person

Adventure mode Dwarf Fortress.

What about Hexen 2?

Less enemies per map but far better secrets/puzzles. Hard as nails, too

Fpbp, good taste user. Hexen and Heretic were great.

Mine is similar, for me it's final fantasy tactic advanced

That mission select ost in the bar is just off the hook

World of Goo was a perfect package for me. I was blown away when this kicked in:

Legend of Mana

The combat isn't that great and anything resembling a main plot is pretty generic. But where the game shines is in atmosphere and characters. It's one of the only games that I can think of that just feels like you are an adventurer; someone who is roaming the world randomly coming across fun side stories and tragic tales. The main plot basically just pushes you to explore the world and go on tons of smaller adventures, meeting tons of fantastic characters and sinking into a world made up of beautiful drawn backgrounds and music that spans multiple genres. One day you come home to see that your cactus friend that is silent 24/7 has run off and you have to go find him. Another day you're hunting through the jungle for an illusive animal that a noble is paying two indebted grunts to find, ultimately ending in a confrontation with a giant beast. Another experience takes you straight to the underworld to work alongside a damned dragoon of sorts to kill ancient dragons, ending in a fight with the man he made a deal with. It's just such a beautifully made game that achieves both a comfy atmosphere and one that feels like you're just an adventurer in the world. Not a main character, not a chosen one (even if you technically are), just a drifter going from place to place, experiencing new stories and battles as you go along.

Add to it a shit ton of customization, lots of weapon types, side activities like golem building and farming, a map system that can lead to multiple playthroughs experiencing different stories, and you've got something special. There's just nothing like it.

Better puzzles but that's about it. 1 had better enemies, weapons, levels, etc.

well OP, you made me think.
and i went through my list of favourite games (wich is 30 games) yes i keep a google drive spreadsheet for my vidya
and while there are games that i consider close to perfect, they dont necessarly offer infinite replay value like some other anons in this thread used as an argument for their decision.
so for perfect games with infinite replay value (mostly due to being multiplayer)
>Garou mark of the wolves
>Mario Kart 8
and thats it.
as far as singleplayer games go, its probably MGS3, and maybe God Hand.

to tell you the truth, I would sleep with that man. Anyone else has this fetish of sleeping with ugly men? I think the regret of sleeping with someone so ugly turns me on

>Like Metroid. It's not a Doom clone, unlike Hereitc, and has its own identity.
The gameplay is still fast paced like Doom but the level design isn't meant for it at all.
>The Ethereal Crossbow and the Firemace.
And the alternate fires which come from easily hoarded tomes. Even if Hexen technically has more unique weapons you still only have a very limited selection at any time.

what's his end game?

Mount and Blade: Warband
It's literally my favorite game ever and it will remain as it until Bannerlord tries to dethrone it

What sick fuck would eat bird poop and then share it with another person?

The combat is like Doom but once you've killed all the surrounding enemies the gameplay shifts back to its exploration focus. I don't see the issue.

If you're hoarding the Tomes then you aren't using them.

exhentai.org/g/793433/ede3e48cb8/

really just use saucenao.com, you uplaod the image and it gives you it

faggot
take my free hand out

The secrets are much better in II. They really use the Quake engine's true 3D to hide shit, and they usually make far more sense than Hexen's "this random wall is activable and slides away" Doom-like style of secrets. In Hexen II you'd need to find a brick to push in order to slide a bookshelf in a study, always something that makes sense for the setting, and no random secrets in the middle of the wilderness where nobody would set up a complex sliding wall mechanism

Thanks for teaching me how to fish

I only knew google image search

Still one of the hottest hentai out there. This, Baku Ane, and Ane Jiru 2, are top tier.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

Killing enemies should flow with your progression through the level or it turns into a slog. There's barely any exploration at that point because you already went through most of the level, you're just retreading because you can't progress further until you find that one thing you missed.
>If you're hoarding the Tomes then you aren't using them.
You save powerups for when you need them.

Not even trolling. This was pretty much my dream game before it came out.

This

why are anime characters always white

any game that lets me parry gets my dick hard

According to you. There's an entire genre of just that and Hexen fits right into it. There's no issue here other than you don't like it.

I'd rather have more alternate fire available at any time.

Hexen II has amazing levels, and more actual RPG ideas in it. Hexen only has the flavor. The idea of random starting stats every new playthrough is brilliant. Admittedly, you don't allocate points on level up so every character tends to converge to a similar "late game" feel, but I feel having the first 1/4 of the game vary so wildly due to stats is a massive incentive to replaying the game. A Paladin with speed but substandard strength will play a lot differently, you better believe you're gonna use these shittons of items you're stacking. And even minute changes in character speed and strength are enough to require different timing in melee. It's a completely underrated game

>have my

If anime chars looked asian, they would only have black hair and brown eyes to work with which means they truly couldn't be told apart from eachother.

Because they aren't?

Cartoons are cartoons. They aren't drawn in any specific race, unless specifically stated to BE of a certain race.

Feel free to tell me what race this girl is supposed to be, for example.

>parrying
>a good pistol
>a good revolver
>a good double barrel shotgun
>juggling enemies
>fishing minigame
>collectable card game minigame
>high enemy damage

did i just make the perfect game?

>There's no issue here other than you don't like it.
The issue that the fast paced gameplay does not compliment the slow exploration that is required to progress through the game. Doom also rewarded exploration with secrets but generally your progression was not locked behind it and you could keep the fast paced gameplay going if that's what you wanted.

Complex magic system
Interesting world
Stats affect body
Big tiddies
I've yet to find something like that.

More RPG elements than none isn't much of an achievement, since Hexen wasn't an RPG. Also you know those stats don't do jack shit, right? Health and Mana vary, sure, but strength, intelligence, etc don't do anything. What Hexen 2 did that I liked was the class abilities you earned at certain experience levels.

My nigga.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Mukokuseki

Well Hexen isn't Doom. Hexen's exploration wasn't to find secrets, it was to find a way to progress to the next hub. Enemies were merely an obstacle from one switch or key to the next. Metroid and Castlevania follow the same formula, fast action with a greater focus on exploration. I don't see why it doesn't work here specifically.

either tetris, street fighter 2 or crash team racing

> Also you know those stats don't do jack shit, right? Health and Mana vary, sure, but strength, intelligence, etc don't do anything

What? HP and Mana are self-explanatory, but INT and WIS affects your Mana (max number and damage of mana attack); DEX determines movespeed; and STR affects regular melee damage.

honestly prefer 5 to 4, 4 is fucking boring

Parasite Eve.

filthy slut

Metroid and Castlevania don't have extremely fast 90's FPS gameplay.

Either FF tactics advanced or warcraft 3. I put a disgusting amount of hours into both, they were just too good

My point exactly.

Furthermore, if you've ever been in Tokyo, you'll see tons of Nip girls who look awfully westernized or have blonde hair, etc...

Asians see anime characters as asian, westerners see them as western.

And no one in the world has naturally pink, blue, purple, or green hair. Anime characters are of whatever race the story dictates. Unless no race is stated, in which case, there isn't one.

One great example is Tifa. People always go back and for on if she's meant to be Asian or not. Fact of the matter is, she's neither white nor asian, she's from whatever the name the fantasy Continental she's from is called, and her race is entirely fictional. Same for Cloud, and the rest of the FFVII cast.
