Dude the planet lmao

dude the planet lmao

>dude there's literally no reason to take me or lyn out of the party for the entire game lmao
I liked the game but that mandatory party members shit was fucking stupid.

Thinking about that ending still triggers me

How the fuck so I get a woman, who is not of color, interested in the shit between my fucking legs???

thinking about how we'll never get a sequel still triggers me. Fucking Smashfags.

92% of girls don't care about size.
Just get yourself out there and anyone would be down for you.
Girls won't deny you because of your dick, but they will deny you if you have no social skills.

How to I get a qt socially retarded gf?

How do I social skills user, I get super obsessive over the stupidest shit, plus I have no clue how to actually start this shit.

>dude le focus on exploration lmao

What a shit game, Im glad XC2 is going back to its story-driven roots like the first game in addition of having better character design.

Go talk to people. I didn't have many social skills until I got my second job. It'll happen naturally if you make an effort.

I've even had some guys come out of the closet to me and ask me to go out with them because I'm so social nowadays. I ain't gay, though.

>Exploration has always been at the heart of the Xenoblade saga, especially in Xenoblade Chronicles X. Can we expect the world to be even more vast on Switch?

>Takahashi: Exploration will have an even more decisive role in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. With regard to the number of places to explore and visit, I think we’re going far beyond what Xenoblade Chronicles X was able to offer. As you could see in the trailer, you can expect to discover a large number of diverse environments, some natural, some built by men.

eat shit

Just drink pheromone coffee nigga, the cafe is open every day

Thanks voice acting.

This. The ending itself would have been fine if it had actually been a setup for a proper sequel. Instead we're getting Tales of Inconsequential Shonenshit: No One Asked For This Edition

You don't even have to do that, just take a fucking bath.

I bathe every day, where are my bitches?

They like me more, sorry bro.

But I'm a social savant. My iq is average.

chris chan is that you?

DUDE

Anyone can talk to anyone. Just be chill and crack a few smooth jokes. Smile a lot.
You'll get anyone to sit on your face if you do it enough.

I keep forgetting how perfect 2Bs ass is

I just got a Wii U. Do I need to play Chronicles before playing X or is it one of those "sequel in name only" things?

Nah you can play it right away no problem, you should definitely play chronicles at some point though. I believe it's on the wii u virtual console.

X isn't related aside from a few references.
If you do want to play Chronicles at some point you should play the version on the Wii U eshop. You can use the gamepad as a classic controller input so you can play it entirely on the gamepad.
Also make sure your Wii U is on 5.5.1 so you can hack it

Play chronicles first ive heard on Sup Forums before than XC1 and feel very slow if your play XCX first
yes its on the virtual console for $20 or so i recommend the 3DS version though

>just be yourself

>>dude there's literally no reason to take me or lyn out of the party for the entire game lmao

My dick says otherwise

Was Murderess supposed to be a likable character in any way, shape, or form? Sup Forums always talks shit about all the PCs in the game, saying that almost all of them are terrible people, but I found something to like in all the most hated ones, like Phog and H.B.. I couldn't think of anything even remotely redeemable about Murderess' character.

>H.B.
>hated
Not in this timeline.

I'm still mad about her recruitment and how Irina forgives her later. God she's a stupid dyke too. Gwin's too good for her, and he's garbage.

I don't think anyone dislikes Phog or HB.
Irina and Murderess are probably the only party members who I would say are genuinely terrible people

Well, I kind of assumed H.B. would be hated because of his superiority complex at the beginning, and that Sup Forums hates Phog because they see themselves in him. It's probably just shitposters then saying that none of the playable characters are likable, because I can't think of anyone else bad. I didn't even mind Irina, maybe she's a little irrational but I don't think she's outright malicious. I would say I would rather shoot myself than recruit Murderess if I wasn't sure she would do it for me.

If "just be yourself" doesn't work for you, then your take away from that should be that "yourself" isn't good enough as is.

I tried for years to get women based entirely on how I treat them, and not on how I treated myself, and it never once worked.
In spite of this seeming backwards, you have to focus on you to get women, work on your physique, work on your career, work on hobbies that are creative outlets.
If you aren't an attractive or interesting individual then it doesn't matter how will you treat them, you aren't going to be able to start a romance.
It does mater for keeping them around after you get them, but that initial hurdle seems to be your problem.

Actually, never mind, Boze is kind of a dick, but he's so forgettable that I literally forgot about him.

>Hating on best boys Phog and H.B.
Literally how?

She's tolerable in her last affinity mission after you help her. Then you can treat Murderess and Irina to drinks.

Well shit, I dunno. I like them too, I just assumed Sup Forums didn't. Personally I think Yelv is best boy and Alexa is best girl

There were a bunch of fucks with bad taste on this very board that were in love with here when the game came out. Probably just because she's a dom with big tits, but as a character she's absolutely abysmal, her actions are like one of the NPCs that you arrest and turn in.
Honestly, Slovity makes a much better murderess than Murderess, but they chose not to give us many xeno party members for some strange reason

>Boze is kind of a dick
Begone, alien-loving hippie scum.

the new Xenoblade could be hand crafted by god and be the best RPG of my life and I will still be mad that they are wasting years of my life waiting to find out what the fuck was going on with that planet

fuck cross, fuck sawano

I wouldn't say not likable = malicious. For example I find Doug kind of unlikable because he's just really boring.

Only black girls try to holler at me. If the matter is sexual, I'm shit out of luck for multicultural points.

TATSU LMAO

no, but you should play XC1 first because the gameplay will feel slow after XCX

I still have hope that we're all on the ruse cruise and all Xenoblade are linked and thus the lore of 2 will shed some lights on events and lore from X. For all we know the reasons the Titans are sinking from the Cloud Sea in Xenoblade 2 is because they're being amassed together to form Mira underneath the sea or some bullshit like that.

Fuck you, leatherman!

as a sequel its more of loosely based on Chronicles with some nods here and there but you dont need to know anything about Chronicles to enjoy X. That said if you like good JRPG's and like excellent character driven stories Chronicles is absolutely worth playing.

>Phog
>>>>>H.B.
>hated
what

thats what Im hoping for but I got really low expectations that we are going to get any real exposition on Mira in Chronicles 2

I think my wife partly got with me because of my cock size. Likewise, her tits were a big plus for me.

ass > tits my dude

I honestly look forward to the end of the custom character trend. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to make your own character. But when you have custom characters the story takes a major drop in quality.

When your character can be anyone, along with dialog choices, you can't really write a good story around that. This is because you essentially have to take you, your character, out of the equation because there are too many variables. You guy just stands there like a statue never saying anything or adding anything to the plot; it feels like they could be removed and nothing would change.

Look at the original Chronicles. Shulk was a strong and interesting character. Because that's what he was: a character. You can write a much more interesting story in a game when you have set in stone characters to work with. X suffered a lot because of this. It's story was a big step down in quality compared to chronicles. I spent the whole time in X waiting for the story to start to pick up.

There's other reasons it felt like a step down, too. Like having too many potential party members felt like it was running itself too thin with characterization. But I feel the major problem was still the custom character.

I'd say the best way to tackle things in an eventual X-2 is to have single player and multiplayer be completely unrelated modes, or mutliplayer be in-lore a VR simulation, that way you can have an actual protagonist for SP/story stuff and a make-a-character for multiplayer, MH-style instances and such.

this right here, Shulk was an excellent protagonist and his relationship with each party member, and all the relationships they had with each other is what took that game to greatness. As soon as I learned the player character was some mute shmuck with no defining characteristics I knew the story of the game was going to take a hit. To be fair X made up for it somewhat by schooling Chronicals on exploration and giant robots, but that more made it feel like a spin off then a true sequel to me, their focuses are completely different.

On some level it kind of works to each games strengths and themes. Chronicles deals a lot with family and loved ones and the entire main party is the star point of the game. Where as X's much larger focus on exploration and side stories may have caused the main plot to suffer, but it helped to highlight the themes of being an alien and the community spirit of NLA

>When your character can be anyone, along with dialog choices, you can't really write a good story around that.
I wouldn't say you can't, Devil Survivor has an OK story and the protag is silent.
It's more of a matter of making the silent protag have a personality, even though he is silent, and that reflects on his dialogue choices.

>You guy just stands there like a statue never saying anything or adding anything to the plot; it feels like they could be removed and nothing would change.
I remember that game.

I think it allowed for better side quests in X though
Since the character doesn't have a predefined personality, and you just get to make up as you go along through your actions, it makes it so some of the more off the wall choices you can make in side quest dialogue aren't immersion breaking.
Like, most written JRPG protags wouldn't "Inform the Manon that they are dead inside" ect.

Dude, you seriously need to commit suicide already.

A well crafted story with a strongly written protagonist is more important and valuable than some one-off reddit-tier """"""humorous"""""" dialogue

I think having Cross be a silent protag would have been fine if they went more in-depth with the whole J-Body thing, but like with most things story-related in X, it goes nowhere.

Name me one person that actually wanted a sequel to Xenoblade over a sequel to X

I hope XBX2 is good. I didn't like the first one and XBC2 looks too weird for me.

TAKE IT BACK

Yeah, in some games it can work. But, and this is speculation on my part, judging by earlier concepts and interviews I believe that originally it wasn't going to have a custom character. The story was probably written to include a main character, but after they decided to add multiplayer they had to do a lot of rewrites to accommodate not having a main character "character." The plot does feel like it set out with the intention of one thing then ended up a big confused.

...

Me

But that doesn't let you make your character your own.

The best solution is the developers just writing multiple versions of story scenes and dialogue to accommodate for player choices, but that basically isn't going to happen due to voice acting.

It's nice to see a japanese-made character with my name that isn't black for once.

>But that doesn't let you make your character your own.
Literally who cares?

I like Doug BECAUSE he's boring. He's the veteran that's seen it all and just wants to get shit done and protect his friends. Him being the only one beside Lyn to give a shit about Lao and him being the only one beside no one else to put Elma's plans for mankind into question also worked to make him more likeable and memorable than half the cast.

Wrong. Never before X2 was announced did you ever think to yourself "know what would be great? If Xenoblade had a direct sequel"

He's also handsome as fuck.

People who expect some classic role playing elements in their RPG.

>"know what would be great? If Xenoblade had a direct sequel"

funny, that's what me and many others wanted X to be

Yes I fucking did you faggot. And I want every other Xeno game to be more Xenoblade after that too. Literally end your life this instant please. I beg of you.

The plus side is that if you only take them on mandatory missions, they remain competently leveled and you can do the rest of the missions in the chapter with other party members.

Why are you playing JRPGs then?

>him being the only one beside no one else to put Elma's plans for mankind into question

He wasn't the only one, you can make the MC do it too.
You better believer when I got to chose between "celebrate" and "wait, go back to what you were fucking talking about before" that I picked that Elma has some explaining to do.

I appreciate that the sidequests rolled with the choices you made even when you picked the derpy options.

BORN IN A WORLD OF STRIPES

>beside no one else to put Elma's plans for mankind into question
He agrees with her in the end though

Because they generally have better gameplay than WPRGs,.

He agrees with her that now's not the time to philosophize about it and they should concentrate on finishing the mission before the mims run out of juice, he doesn't agree with her on the morality of it all

I think there will be more varied environments, but from what we've seen of the game during the Treehouse events, it looks like the areas will be much more compact. I personally preferred X's sprawling expanses more, but to each their own.

>Elma's plans for mankind
Can we take a minute to appreciate this for a moment
>Ya sorry actually you are all the walking echo's of dead people who were tricked into being marooned on your doomed home world with your doomed friends and loved ones. But dont worry we can clone you actually whoops we cant and we lost the backup and the thing supposedly keeping you all """alive""". Can you guys just keep hanging out as pseudo living cosmic pranks until after the new game is finished?

Must be pretty easy to say that when your the only one who got their flesh and blood back Elma. I know Id be peeved if I charged into battle thinking I would be brought back if I died only to find out my entire existence was a farce.

we haven't seen JACK SHIT, the presentation barely covered the starting town and a bit of area outside

Not to mention that the progression between areas will be linear while X had the entire world available to the player from the start.

>/xcxg/ is dead now
IT STILL HURTS

good, /vg/ threads always turn into cancer eventually. XCXg was turning into cancer months before it was dead, Better for it to die off

Murderess was great. She wasn't a terrible person at all, just an asshole who has trouble connecting to people. She's pretty much just Batman.

AGAINST THE ODDS

It was decent for like a month then it turned into pure cancer. Just like every other general it was full of roleplaying autists shoving their OC do not steal in everyone's faces and generally being unwelcoming to new players.

Even they have standards. You are way below them.

And what if her plan had worked as intended? Humans would practically become immortal gods, always able to transfer their consciousness forward from one body to the next and live on forever. I'm betting whomever sabotaged the archives and keeps the mims running by unknown means wants humanity to regain a sense of mortality by fear of at least some of them going full Zanza "I wanna live forever and fuck anyone else" on us.

>just an asshole who has trouble connecting to people
But that's what I am and people tell me I'm a terrible person.

Phog and H.B. are unironically my two favorite PCs.

The only one I really fucking hate is Boze. I don't even know why I hate him so much, I just do. He pisses me off.

...

Well, the Lifehold core works fine, anyone in a mim totally can have a new human body be made for them and then be transferred to it.
However, the millions of people who were just on servers are gone.

My guess is the government will start spitting entirely new people out of the Lifehold core, like how Elma made a cat, and then make up some bullshit how of course this person was one of the passengers.
>What do you mean no one knows them? There were several million people on the ship, surely you don't expect to know everyone?
