something about this sonic looks so off. IMO, the best sonic is polygon saturn sonic

I hate how Sonic and Knuckles' mouths are shaped. That just bothers the fuck outta me.

heroes was the last sonic game I enjoyed.(i stopped at unleashed, a game that was a last try for me at sonic games after 06) i stopped enjoying them at unleashed and never bought another one.

sorry, wrong pic

The ideal Sonic design is from his worst game? Fancy that.

Same shit technically. They're both very good but I like Heroes' CGI models alot.

WHAT GOES UP MUST COME DOWN

YET MY FEET DON'T TOUCH THE GROUND

I'm glad the new bonus stage has a similar sonic to saturn polygon sonic

SEE THE WORLD SPINNING UPSIDE DOWN

LIKE A MIGHTY CRASH WITHOUT A SOUND

Fixed.

The best Sonic, Knuckles and Tails designs are from the OVA. Prove me wrong.

lmao nah

>Toei
I thought they only made shit

Disagree

TRY TO REACH INSIDE OF ME

Yea well when your only knowlege of a studio comes from cherry picked images you tend to be wrong about things

That looks awful. Classic Sonic really should purely be a thing of the past

Sonic Heroes was objectively better than Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.

It actually focused on fast platforming and no stupid fishing and mech levels.

How the fuck do you play Sonic?

It's just so stop-start right now that I'm sure I'm doing it wrong.

I know git gud and stuff but everything feels so random right now

>Manages to have more 90s level of cheesiness in the artwork than Sonic Adventure

Kinda fasinating how towards the end he begins to resemble

Look, I'm not going to say I know their whole track record, but this shit is all over not only super but z as welland season 0

>It actually focused on fighting damage sponge robots

Fixed

You fight "sponge robots" in every single game in the series. Your point?

I'm pretty sure it's the same model. Sonic R, Jam, and 3D Blast all used it.

Only in Heroes (And 06) do they need 40 million hits to die though.

That's wrong, though. Every normal enemy in every previous Sonic was a one-hit kill, as they should be. Heroes was the first one to introduce cancerous health bars in a game about going fast.

The only levels with forced combat with high HP enemies are Mystic Mansion and Final Fortress. Egg Fleet too with the Gundam looking robots but you can cleverly use Tails to fly over the gates they guard if you use the environment.

Every thing else in the game can be very easily one shot with Sonic once you reach Level 2.

In comparison with the previous entries (go through a bunch of shit you don't really want to do to get to the fast) it's the lesser of two evils. Besides, at max level strength did it ever take more than 3 hits to take down the biggest of badniks?

>in a game about going fast
You're a fucking idiot. God you're so fucking stupid. I'd punch you in the face irl if you said something this retarded to me.

The gameplay would have been marginally better without the health bars or the leveling up system. You can downplay them if you want but they're still a flaw.

Nice non-argument. You can try again once you've finished your temper tantrum.

Fuck off. Hearing Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles saying "Reverru UP!" fucking empowers me and gives me a giant dumbass smile on my face. Only my opinion matters in this shitty fucking fanbase. And if you disagree with me you have to die. You have to die!

Without the health bar, the Power characters would have nothing to do.

The leveling system could be scrapped but it's not as big of an issue as people think. There's plenty of chances to level up and every character becomes the most useful at Level 2. Level 3 is only ever for slightly more convenient perks.

>the Power characters would have nothing to do
There are still bosses and obstacles to break. Also every section that requires triangle jumping.

There would be no reason to have a variety of attack options for them then.

>actually defending Toei
They're the anime equivalent to EA. Just because they may have been good decades ago, doesn't mean they still deserve any respect.

>Without the health bar, the Power characters would have nothing to do.
I guess that mean Heroes is flawed on a fundamental level, then.

Perhaps. I still think it works out pretty fine though. 06 was the one that truly did health bars in a fucking idiotic way. Nothing to work with except a shitty homing attack that does one damage. That game absolutely did not need health bars at all. At least Heroes and Shadow had SOME justification for them.
