That's the anime version from the netflix movie comming out in december.

Not really

I didn't even know that was happening

Well then fuck me, that is a really bad redesign. It really does look like a poorly made action figure of the 2014 Godzilla.

HE'S FAT

looks okay i guess. could be better.
looks very chunky, but it does kind of make sense considering he's been alive and free to roam for hundreds of years.

>the chad trainer vs the virgin breeder

the turned Arby into a Bayonetta enemy

What don't you like about it?

The Kaidon armor in Halo 5 is completely consistent with what that armor is supposed to look like, even in bungie era lore it's said to be super ornate and detailed and gold, and it still preserves a lot of the general feeling the arbiter armor itself had.

I think it looks fine, like the only piece of elite armor 343 has made I actually think is on par with bungie's.

A fusion of 2014 and 2016 Godzilla

>2016 Godzilla
?

retard

>Bulky like 2014
>Texture like Shin/2016
That's how I see it.

you are literally retarded. its been stated in the thread multiple times. its the netflix godzilla

I just feel, like with everything in Halo 4 and 5, it is way too over designed. The thing that was so great about the Arbiter's original design is that it was relatively simple but unique. It perfectly encapsulated his theme as a disgraced knight. the Bungie Halos, even Reach, had a very earthy and worn feeling to their designs. They had practicality and function.

The new armor, While definitely ornate, feels antiseptic as well as not meant for battle. The Sangheili are a warrior race, first and foremost. Wearing complex and shiny battle armor feels out of place. I think a simpler, battle hardened design would suit him much better.

Not shin godzilla, the new animu godzilla that got announced a few weeks ago.

>you are literally retarded. its been stated in the thread multiple times. its the netflix godzilla
I know. I'm describing what it looks like

It looks extremely overdone and the way it goes with their current elite design bothers me too (due to me not liking the current elite design).

The original design looked much more simplistic and modest due to the Arbiter's placement in the Covenant ranking. I understand that it might look different as a result of the Sangheili indulging into their own culture/ranks again but it still feels extremely over done and boastful which I feel contrasts their honorific code/principles. Plus, I really don't understand why that armor is suitable for combat, you'd stick out like a sore thumb in it and it doesn't look very comfortable to wear.

The arm could be just a touch longer/meatier. Just to make him look more capable of fighting.

Godzilla doesn't fight with his arms. He uses his tail and atomic breath. Those two things should be the forefront of his designs, followed then by his massive trunk and legs.

>how should we reintroduce arbiter to halo 5?
>i know lets ditch his simple and sleek ornate alien design and make him a visually busy gold plated bayformer indistinguishable from any other high-rank elite
At least they didn't fuck Buck's design

Have you seen any of the Japanese movies? Goji getting in a fist-fight with King Kong is what made the character become such a phenomenon. Sure it's silly, but people love silly.

Yeah, I just finished San daikaiju Chikyu saidai no kessen in my chronological view through. Godzilla fights by swinging his tail around and kicking rocks.

The one on the left looks like the kind of shitstain the one on the right would beat effortlessly and then he'd go BWUH BWUH MY TEAM WAS PERFECT HOW COULD I LOSE

True, but then again, he also likes to throw enemies. Having bigger arms wouldn't detract from his having legs and a tail.

Sounds like someone's projecting.

>San daikaiju Chikyu saidai no kessen

Shut the fuck up.

Who was this for?

Oh shit, sorry John Wayne.

That armor isn't covenant made, though, it's native sangheili, it's armor worn by clan leaders/warlords.

I would agree with this

I never said it was, it was designed with the purpose of the rank in mind though when they were developing Halo clearly. It's meant to make you stand out among other Elites but it's not an honorable type notoriety. The story and the visuals complement each other. It only became a symbol of high ranking/honor when Thel made it one through his actions.
