Make every raid drop the same items as its latest counterpart i.e. running A3S or T4 will give you glaze, roborant and whatever the fuck O3S drops

Two questions
1. Is WHM or AST more fun? I like the aesthetic and big dick heals of the former but utility and starting-at-level-30 of the latter
2. How retarded am I if I attempt to heal with a controller? I have a SCH at 45 I did okay on [pre SB] but obviously nothing really intense.

controller is good for anything except alliance healing. it's just menu navigation and aoe heals don't even require you to do anything

Yeah I doubt anything alliance. I'm on PC (I just like controllers and do fine with them on DPS) so I can click occasionally if I really need to anyway.

Please take a moment to consider what the playerbase would do before making suggestions.

The game already does a remarkably good job keeping content relevant, moreso than any other MMO. Yes, it would be nice if they could take it one step further and create a real incentive for synced Coil runs, but even now it's not impossible to get groups for that anyway.

Make EACH of them drop once-a-week rewards so you'd still have to run everything if you want to maximize your loot chances
XIV didn't do a very good job at keeping content relevant. Take Vindictus, a game that's a rotten corpse for example. To this day it still managed to give players incentive to run SIX year old raids that are 30-40 levels below their max level. Why? Because they drop loot that sell for a good price and is useful even way beyond those raids

Monk is fun but fuck I seem to do worse with it than other dps. I wish there was a way to highlight the flank and rear of enemies. I lose tons of dps some fights and true north's cd is too long.

Why are there XIV threads everyday? I see atleast 3-4 threads a day on Sup Forums just about XIV and yet they have a functioning general. Why even have a general if people just post their own generals in regular Sup Forums?

set other people's effects to limited and pray that the tank doesn't spin the boss like a turbine. if you're having a shit time with monk you're gonna have a shit time with any other dps though since everything has positionals

The open part of the circle behind the target is the rear. The parts on either side are the flanks, and you basically never want to be in front of a monster. You can hug the border between the rear and flank (where the line ends) and move between them as you need to maximize your DPS.

If I'm on my RDM I'll cut them off and toss someone a rez when the healer has one second left on it just to spite them

I did the limited thing today but I have experience with other dps and I used to main mch and I did around the same dps in the leveling dungeons.

You must dps in feast before you try criticizing healers try healing in pvp first you wouldn't know how hard it is to heal while you have a pld or drk on your ass stunning and silencing you every 3 seconds I refuse to take any opinions from a deadass weight dps who can't kill shit in pvp.

While this works every enemy is different and in turn the ring. I can do this easy with large monster but mid to small is a nightmare. If I could color code it in game or with a 3rd party I'd be so happy.

My group's progress looking similar to yours. Two members fucked off though which cost us two weeks finding competent enough reps to get back to downing Exdeath consistently.

Close to clearing Neo now at least. Healers just need to step their game up in the last 50%.

True, but on smaller targets it's easier to move the distance to clearly be on someone's flank/rear. With smaller targets just try to orient yourself directly east/south/whatever relative to the target.
