FUCK THIS STUPID FUCKING FROG
FUCK THIS STUPID FUCKING FROG
Hardest boss in the game bar Radiance. Thankfully retrying the dream version doesn't cost you anything. I'd highly recommend grabbing the double jump before you attempt it though. Helps to make it so much less stressful.
FUCK THIS STUPID FUCKING FROG
Nah, just kidding. He's based as fuck.
Failed Champion is harder.
Fuck hes the first one I've found besides that False Knight guy and the girl with the needle and thread, I only have dash and walljump.
I beat him on my third try. He wasn't too bad
Nah. He has very straightforward patterns, just stricter about you actually executing your attacks. I beat him even without the shadow cloak.
The fucking Tyrant is absolutely insane with his feints, shockwaves, teleportation and homing projectiles.
Not really, you can dash through most of his moves
>not knowing Hornet's name
What an odd thing to get upset about.
>dash through
>through
>he only did the dream bosses in post-game
with full upgrades
But that's not Lost Kin.
He's a bug though.
>you did a post-game boss in post-game
Daily reminder that if you used the stinky charm on the Lost Kin dream fight you are in fact bad at video games.
...
>just found deepnest
How can a game be so good?
So why was Joni called "the kindly heretic"?
You can do those as soon as you get the Dream Nail. Which is by the time you get to Crystal Peak, so pretty much right after the Mantis Lords. You can access most dream bosses right after you defeat the regular version.
He's one of the easiest bosses. Just stay next to the right wall at all times.
thought the game was hard 1st time round till I noticed putting constant pressure on the bosses made them 100x easier since that double heal mixed with quick heal is basically free wins
Dumb frogposter
I didn't even fight the mantis lords until I was doing endgame cleanup and discovered an entire extra half of mantis villiage I missed first time through; ended up going to the deepnest by just falling down the pit next to it later in the game, saw a big fuckoff door to the right when I landed, and figured I'd open it later. I don't know why they don't put the wall jump behind the lords or why so many people are apparently super into the idea of going to the deepnest that early but I feel like I'm the only one that never saw those spindly fuckers.
>I don't know why they don't put the wall jump behind the lords
THIS.
Currently stuck on him. Any tips?
git gud
leave and do something else
git gud faggot
Always stay next to the right wall.
When he does the 6 balls attack, slide down the wall when he approaches you to get a free hit and heal when the balls go back.
His charge stops before hitting you, so get a free hit or heal.
When he does the slamming attack, cling to the wall and jump away + dash in after his slam to dodge the shockwaves.
When he does the ball spam, chase him down and attack him with whatever you have, then return to the wall.
For his second phase, dash right when he appears and attack him when he does ball spam. Never try healing.
The entire fight is basically a flowchart, so once you memorize what to do, he becomes a joke.
Because then you'd have a way to climb back up.
Do dream bosses give any reward or are they just for fun?
he's only hard before you realize abyssal shriek rapes him
You get dream essence or whatever to awaken the nail. You need the awakened nail for the best ending
Does anyone even use desolate dive in combat at all? Seems reckless for little reward.
If I get the bad end do I have to restart the whole game for the good end or can I just reload the save?
You can reload.
Its invincibility frames can be very helpful.
Honestly, I barely used magic on my playthrough. I should do a more magic focused one someday.
Great damage, gives you iframes. What's not to like?
There's a video where the player kills that giant jellyfish boss in a single vulnerability window by just spamming desolate dive.
