for everything TF2 has going against it, it's still pretty fun and the characters have such charm and personality that those other multiplayer games have yet to match

If you can't run TF2 consistently at 60 fps in the current year, I doubt your "modern pc" can run most games made in the past 5 years.

The TF2 site just recently announced winners of the Arms Race contest thingy and it leads me to believe they were waiting for that to conclude before they shipped the update.

Look, I'm as for representation as the next gal, but who gives a shit, it came out 10 years ago, if you really care that much about the lack of representation, then go play Overwatch.

They can still make updates. They do that all the time. Why not patch in something like a black female pansexual character.
