I have a love/hate relationship with Rogue Legacy, but I think ultimately, it's not worth it. Also I hate the video becuase I think the script was just bad.
Just made a new logo, channel art, and end screen (and redid all my thumbnails as a result). Gonna work on better section headers and transitions in after effects to improve the production values.... Then get a temp website up since I bought a year of hosting... then a real website...

I genuinely think this "adpocalypse" is actually a method to slow down and deter the amount of content posted to youtube. It's no secret that youtube is not profitable, and most of that is it's massive overhead.
There's a huge deadzone of people who just don't monetize anyways, or make garbage content, or content that's just abrasive. Youtube has kind of allowed this with like how AngryJoe is clearly blacklisted by Nintendo, and other such things.

Monster didn't have anyone explaining the ending, so I made one.
Berserk had shitty opinions everywhere, so I made a good video about it.
No one ever really made a Kreia video, so I made one.
Then I started calling people overrated, making them curious about my own content. If you're the best and call people shit, they'll become curious to shit on you. I gained me a small following until I blew up.
You have to be lucky, know your audience, have talent, work hard and fill a niche.
