The two Advance sequels and the Rush series are not classic Sonic. They are 2D versions of the Adventure games.

Advance 1 is the last true classic game.

Space out the Blue Spheres levels a bit better. Unless I think "Fuck the medals," I'm hitting one every 45 seconds, and it eats up too much of the gameplay. Putting all of the unlocks behind it exacerbates the situation.

I did like that in Advance you could try the special stages over and over without having to restart the level

I'd just change Egg Reverie into Doomsday 2.0. Heavy King steals the phantom ruby and tries fucking off, you chase him through space. Maybe add the HBH to assist him.

Eggman was a joke which I understand is the point but cmon.

Also not a fan of the music because it feels like it's trying too hard to be a modern sonic final boss music. I'd actually take a doomsday zone remix.

Only low points are Hydro City and Lava Reef. Adding a bubble and a conveyor belt does not count as "remixing" the level, actually put some effort into it. As it stands, these levels are still great, but inferior to their Genesis counterparts.

That said, the levels and gameplay are stellar which is the most important thing, but the game could use more zone transitions, bug fixes, and an option to give super transformations a dedicated button (as opposed to double jumping).

Also it's a longshot but the game could use some more fleshed out endings.

Every fucking time, without fail. I don't even like sonic, I'm not going to play this game, but I can't help but admire Sup Forums's faultless detection of the tipping point and immediate deployment of unfocused and confused irritation that the mainstream kids are on their lawn again.

The ultimate Sup Forums game would require you solve legacy captchas about calle and post appropriate example shitposts, and the best part is that even then people would want it moved to /vg/ after three days, where it would die a death of tripfaggotry where tripcodes hotdog curiously arousing images of greentext stories.

The absolute best part: I enjoy it now. It proves even with changing generations that Sup Forums still remains the little shitbird it always was and always will be.

Take the upper path of Hydro City. Lava Reef is a cool Quartz Quadrant hybrid now.

Say you're a fan of a type of car. Everyone laughs at this car, its a bad car, its newer models are filled with new features nobody wanted and barely retains (if at all) the things that made you fall in love with the original.

But you're a fan of this car, and you can see amidst the shit that there is something about this car that no other car quite itches. Sure, the dashboard might be hot pink and covered in industrial sealant semen, the exhaust might smell like chris-chan, and the steering wheel keeps getting replaced with a slow, bizarre pulley system that occasionally deploys a boot to your balls, but you can feel at its heart there's something still there, it just needs to find it again.

Then this year, they release a nth-year anniversary edition. It is essentially the original car you fell in love with, with a few modern corners cut, but essentially the brand new old in the right shape and making the right noises if you don't look too hard or listen to closely.

Wouldn't you want to fucking tell yourself its perfect? I'm a bystander and I want them to feel happy, I know some of them have been hoping for so very long that even if its a little off and not quite the noble return, and certainly not something that makes the rest of us like this shitty car. I know this but I don't want to begrudge them the dream.

To say fix implies it is bad/broken when the game has been generally accepted as very good. I know, right? Original Hydrocity was one of the best underwater levels in sanic and in platformers in general, because it played with a pretty fast pace. Now in mania, they went and added those sluggish bubble float sections.

Ever since I got all emeralds as Knuckles I can't stop transforming into Super Knuckles when I want to glide while having 50+ rings. I tried other inputs but it doesn't work.

Wait. There was no D at the end of Gameboy Advanced? All those games that I thought ended with D didn't?

That's the main complaint about the game so far. I wonder if this will get through to the devs. I don't know why would they want to keep it as it was. It's either misguided purism or just lack of awareness. S3C already handled it perfectly
