In between the merchandise, releasing two games within a short time period, and the concerts, Nintendo has already generated more profit with Splatoon than Blizzard has with Overwatch... with no signs of slowing down, on their part.

Everything Blizzard does in regards to Overwatch is a carefully constructed publicity stunt.

For example, it was NOT a coincidence that Tracer was the focus behind the manufactured butt pose controversy, and then was revealed to be a lesbian sometime later. It was all planned from the start... although Blizzard did not account for the fact that EVERYONE is making their characters lesbians these days.
