Sorcerer is such a fucking obvious choice, it easily allows for MUH FRANDS and overpowered bullshit. But if this was a real life situation, most of us would probably settle for Wizard.

Out of those 3, wizard. I don't like the idea of being shoehorned into one class of magic and warlocks are usually edgelords.

Not really. Sorcerers have a capped max magic potency. Wizards can always learn more or use other wizard's spells and warlocks can offer more souls. Sorcerer has to use his own grit and not a lot of people come with a full barrel.

Necromancers are almost always people that have studied "forbidden magic", so they'd be wizards specializing in necromancy. A Lich could be a wizard that has studied so much weird shit they became sorcerers that no longer need to study or have books to do crazy undead shit.

Sometimes, but the concept at it's peak is that you could make yourself a totally kickass warrior, then double down and get magic on top of that by contracting extra planar forces.

Warlock is basically a way for non magic users to multiclass.

Nothing, but it slows your progress in both. You'll be more versatile in the short run, but a dedicated magic user will ascend to demigod status much faster.
