Do people actually like this watered down game? It's clearly terrible.

Yes.

Yes, next retarded question.

Its revolutionary because Nintendo made it despite copy and pasting many Ubisoft open world mechanics.

yes

Y-yes? It's probably gonna get GOTY from a lot of places

It also did ubisoft better than ubisoft, hilariously. They made ubisoft towers WORK

>ubisoft created open world

I bet genuinely enjoy Assassin's Creed

>6 months and still not over it
How does it feel to be so mad for so long?

You have to ask yourself if BotW is really worth it.

$400 for a Switch (scalper)
$100 for a Pro Controller (scalper)
$1000 for the 22 amiibo (scalper)
$500 for the Master Edition (scalper)

That's $2000 for a single game, come on. And it doesn't even include the DLC. Seriously?

This pasta is already fucking stale, and I'm 100% sure it's one fucking guy posting it

Stop defending anti-consumer practices.

Or just get the WiiU version, or better yet, download it on CEMU.

Best Zelda in years AND the best open-world game in years.

If you don't like open-world and Zelda games you may hate it. If you don't, I don't really get how you can dislike it desu. It's the best open-world sandbox game I've played.

>inb4 you probably only played this then lolol
I've played a shitton of OW games

Or,
>$300 for a switch because they aren't hard to find
>$0 for the pro controller because I amnno an autist and can use the stock controllers
>$15 for all the amiibos if you buy that really nice leatherbound pack of all 18 zelda NFC cards
>$60 for the game, $100 if you were smart and got the master edition when it first came out

To be honest, open-world games usually aren't hat "open". It's more of a marketing ploy.

I think the problem is that people think games with the open-world label are open-world games when they're practically linear experiences on a big map.

People who dislike Zelda are probably people who think they like open-world games but have never actually played a "real" open-world game.

Good bait OP

Mm, it was really weird in botw when you were forced onto a path, as it rarely ever happened and felt so alien when it did

I can recall maybe three times, the rainy path to zora's domain, the yiga clan hideout, and the path to vah rudania with yunobo. Other than those short instances, the game is completely freeform in how you approach things

I tried continuing skyward sword. I was at the bossfight with that faggot where you had to fake a slice or he will grab your sword. I'm good with the new direction breath of the wild took 100 %. first zelda in a long time where you are not treated like a complete retard. It was embarrassing really

Whats the difference between master and standard, and why are amibos nessesary?

There were 2 collectors editions,
the big one had a case, map, coin and statue, for like $120
the not as big one had everything but the pvc statue, and was $100

I personally bought the $100 edition, and I feel it was worth it, as the extra $40 got me a really nice carrying case that I use all the time, a cool reversible cloth fantasy map to add to my wall of fantasy maps, and a heavy brass coin to add tk my collection of video game and challenge coins

Neither added anything to the GAME though, they were just fun and intended for the more diehard fans

Yeah, the fan art is great too
