I actually played through this again last week. The ONLY problem is the unskippable cutscenes used to mask loading screens.

Max Payne 3 is an incredibly good third person man shooter with some very well done cutscenes that only annoyed me on second plus playthroughs

The bullet time is fucked, the antagonist goes full retard for no real reason and the repeated levels and bland environments take the piss.

The gameplay is such a piece of trash, boggles my mind how faggots ITT claim it to be the best TPS ever.

It's slow as fuck, controls like absolute ass with forced "realism", there is little interaction with environment and what little here is is penalized by mentioned "realism", shootdodge is broken as fuck, there's quite literllay a AUTO AIM (last stand) feature which you can't turn off unless you replay the game.
Even mediocre titles like pic related shit all over it in terms of gameplay.

Run slowly or jump slowly. A bit limited. I don't expect them to go full Path of Neo or whatever - that would not be appropriate to this series. I do think they could have introduced some new abilities though.

That shit was the best, it's a shame no one plays any mode besides Deathmatch or Large Team Deathmatch. I had a trial code and managed to play a game of it with some noobs I just met and it was so refreshing. I can go months without playing the game and come back to getting 1st place nearly every match, one of the few games I'm godly at.

There are only very few of these cutscenes which work as loading buffers, this meme needs to fucking die already.
Be my guest and try skipping 90% of the cutscenes while playing from a SSD with almost instant load times, it won't work.
This shit has been debunked a week after release and even CONFIRMED by Rockstar itself (they claimed it was implemented so people don't skip important story parts), but the meme is still alive and well.
