It's a pretty good game, but I wouldn't call it the GOAT, fuck, it's not even the best within it's own series.

Good choice, it's the best Persona game and definitely one of the best games of all time.

It's just the emotion and joy throughout my playthrough that stuck with me. The story, characters, the music, and the uniqueness of it just overwhelmed me. Currently playing it a second time after taking a break but I had to cut that break short because of how much I missed this game.

Yeah, I can understand why you love it. Typical rule of the first game you play in the series being your favourite since it made the biggest impression. Next step is to download either a ps2 or psp emulator and download Persona 3.

Research which version of the game you want to play and get to it. P5 was my first aswell and the older games still hold up.

I borrowed my friend's vita and bought him persona 4 goolden in exchange. Bearing in mind I played persona 4 on emulator anyhow. You aren't missing much, trust me.

That's BS. I played persona in this order > 4 - 3 - 5 and I found 5 to be the best. Same applies for a lot of other games, the first one you play isn't always the one you enjoy most, stop projecting.
